Christopher W. Boss is the managing partner of Boss Law, with offices throughout Florida, including St. Petersburg and Vero Beach. Chris practices in the areas of bankruptcy, real property litigation, residential and commercial real estate transactions, residential and commercial lending, debt restructuring, collections, and consumer protection. Chris represents both debtors and creditors in complex matters involving debt restructuring, foreclosures, loan workouts and modifications, bankruptcy, and creditor harassment.
Chris is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy, appearing before numerous trade and industry organizations such as Pinellas Realtor Organization, Greater Tampa Association of Realtors, The CCIM Institute, and NBI Legal Seminars. Chris is also a frequent commentator and legal analyst on various debt relief matters to media programs such as the Tampa Bay Times, Fox Channel 13, Channel 10 News, Fox News Radio - The Duncan Duo Show, Bay Area Business Magazine, The Sarasota Sentinel, and The Gulf Coast Business Review.
As an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa, Chris also teaches courses on business law. Prior to founding the firm, he worked as an attorney for KPMG in Tampa, Florida, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations and in Houston, Texas, as a natural gas and electricity trade analyst. Attorney Boss received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University in St. Petersburg, Florida, and his undergraduate degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, where he played for the Division I men's tennis team.
