Alistair carried out an MRes working on the impact of pH on zebrafish behaviour and responses to pharmacological agents.
Ancy worked with us as an Undergrad student on electronic cigarette use and craving/addiction. She is now studying medicine at University of East Anglia.
During her PhD Barbara characterised the role of adgrl3.1 in ADHD phenotypes in Zebrafish. She now has a post-doc in the USA in the Kenney Lab at Wayne State in Detroit, Michigan.
During his PhD, James researched the impact of impulse control on alcohol use in the context of acute, chronic and cumulative lifetime stress. He is now doing a post-doc in Canada at Dalhousie University.

Dr Matt Parker is Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience at the University of Surrey, UK. He was educated at the University of Southampton, and following post docs at the Royal Veterinary College and Queen Mary University of London, he worked as lecturer in Cell Biology and Developmental Genetics at Queen Mary University of London and Nanchang Medical School (China). During his time at Queen Mary, he helped to establish adult zebrafish as a central model organism in behavioural neuroscience, and developed a number of now widely used behavioural protocols in this species. He joined the University of Portsmouth, and established the Brain and Behaviour Lab, in 2015. He left Portsmouth in 2022 to join the Surrey Sleep Research Centre.
Nancy completed her PhD in 2024 titled: "The role of the DMD gene in tumour biology and its association with patient survival across diverse malignancies" and now is doing a post-doc at Queen May London.

Lisa completed an MRes project which studied the effects of social inequalities on health and behavioural parameters using zebrafish as a translational species. She now works as a Lab Assistant in Gosport.
