The player selection process at Charmers is quite different. We ask the player and parent to tell us as much as possible about the prospect. We also ask them to provide references that can tell us more about her past performance. In many cases, before even touching the field, we can tell who we are a good match for and who would be better served by another club... Charmers operates under key philosophies that guide the parents, players, coaches, fans, and administrators. We believe that first and foremost, the game should be enjoyed and respected... Club sports can be a burdensome endeavor. In addition to practices and weekend tournaments, there are often travel obligations that make the experience prohibitive for many deserving young athletes. We hope to help. We make every effort to participate in tournaments that are within driving distance for a weekend experience. We try to ensure that hotel stays are not necessary.
