Claire has had an affiliation with Cheshunt Swimming Club for 23 years where she started swimming as a 9 year old. Within 2 years she had won her first county gold in 100m Breaststroke and successfully retained her title a year later. Claire was also a Regional finalist by the age of 12. One of Claire's greatest achievements with Cheshunt Swimming Club was captaining them to glory in the Herts Major League in 2002. Claire was also very involved with assisting the tadpole lessons from the early age of 11, from this she gained confidence to follow up her desire to complete her teaching qualification. Claire has been involved with both teaching and coaching at Cheshunt for many years and has always been very enthusiastic about her sport and fitness. In 2005 she graduated from university with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (BSC Hons) after which she became a lifestyle and fitness advisor. Claire looks after the swimmers as they transition from the lesson based Frogs squad into the Dolphins, Sharks then Junior Squads.

Paul Wollaston

Paul started his swimming career at Southgate Swimming Club and then moved on to Mermaid Marlin Swimming Club (now Swiss Cottage), and eventually joined Barnet Copthall when it opened in 1978. Here he won an individual bronze in the national age groups 200m freestyle, silver in the age group freestyle relay as well as being a member of the senior men's freestyle relay team that won gold in 1982. He then went into playing water-polo and has represented Great Britain in the Junior European Championships as well as the England men's side in several internationals. Paul has also successfully coached the Southern region U20's water-polo squad, winning the inter-region championships and is still an active member of West London Penguin water-polo club. Paul has been with Cheshunt since 2009 and took over as Head Coach last summer. He still has a real passion for swimming and aims to take the club forward over the years ahead. Paul is an ASA Level 2 qualified Coach.

Richard Walker

Richard started swimming and competing for Cheshunt at the age of 10 and decided he would like to pass on his knowledge and experience that he gained during his time with the Club, therefore he decided to move into the coaching side of the club. He really thrives on seeing swimmers enjoying the sport and improving in their own individual ways. Richard hopes to continue coaching with Cheshunt for many years to come as he has a huge passion for the Club and sport. Richard is an ASA Level 2 qualified Coach.
