Coastal Equipment Corp. is a family business serving Eastern Virginia with locations in Virginia Beach and Yorktown. We have been committed to providing the highest quality, most reliable construction equipment in the industry for four generations. In 1948 Herbert Clay began working for a John Deere dealer in Suffolk, VA and in 1952 he opened Princess Anne Equipment, a John Deere dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia. His son, Bob Clay joined him in the business in 1974 and together changed the name to Coastal Equipment Corp. in 1975. Both Herbert and Bob built a strong reputation in the Construction Equipment community by serving customers with integrity, quality and service. In the 1980's Bob's children, Julie and Jeff, joined their father in the business. Today, Julie serves as Vice President/Treasurer and Jeff serves as President of the company and they continue to work with their father to grow the business while still following the same principles it was built on.
