COUNSELLING AND TRAUMA THERAPY

I am an Integrative counsellor and I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I use humanistic and psychodynamic approaches and CBT, creatively, together with my client and in a way that makes sense to both of us. I offer therapy in Canada Water SE16, in Italian and English... I work by using a number of theories and tools that belong to different therapeutic approaches. Their common denominator is the aim to understand the interrelation between human emotions, thoughts and behaviour. I do not believe that one approach is above the others; a lot depends on the person I work with, the number of sessions available and, of course, the type of issues brought to therapy... I have worked with referrals from GPs on a number of issues, both short and long term.
