Dave cares deeply about the community spending over 15 years leading Boy Scouts and currently is a Volunteer Firefighter in Monico and sits on the Monico Town Board. He founded DSH after working in the industry since 1983. Out of high school he got his associate degree in automotive technology from Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI and then has continued work since. He has extensive experience with Ariel Lift, Construction equipment, Dump truck fabrication, Concrete pumping trucks, and forklifts. He also is:

Most of her education and experience is in teaching Junior High science (20 years teaching full-time) but has 37 years of accumulated knowledge of the hydraulic repair industry by being married to Dave since 1985. In 2018 she retired from teaching to be the office manager of the business. Her experience in raising four children and dealing with countless junior high students has enabled her to run an efficient office for Dependable Service Hydraulic.
