DR RICHARD ROBERTI & ASSOCIATES - Key Persons
Dr. Jana Woolsey completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario and her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She received the honours distinction in clinical practice and was chosen to complete the advanced pediatrics training track in her fourth year at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
Dr. Woolsey also completed a 6 month internship in ocular disease at the Veteran's Hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she worked alongside specialists in the areas of retinal disease, glaucoma and low vision. The experience and training obtained on her many internships lead her to begin practice in 2009 with a vast knowledge in all areas of optometry.
Dr. Woolsey is board certified to practice optometry in both the United States and in Canada. She practices full scope optometry and is licensed in the treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Woolsey is a member of The Ontario Association of Optometrists and enjoys staying active in her field as well as her local community. She's a member of both the Simcoe County Young Professionals Association and a Ripple of Kindness charity and a proud supporter and fundraiser for the Terry Fox Run Foundation for cancer research.
She's an enthusiastic and hard working optometrist who enjoys challenges and loves to meet new patients. Outside the office Dr Woolsey enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons and all her extended family.
