Mr. Gordon serves as CEO & President at Capital Road, bringing nearly 20 years of banking experience including both Commercial and Investment Banking;
Prior to Capital Road, Mr. Gordon served in a managerial capacity at some of the most well-known banking institutions, including: Catalyst Financial, Ladenburg Thalmann, Capitalink, and Citibank;
He has led or been involved in well over $1 billion worth of transactions for small and middle market companies;
Mr. Gordon currently sits on the South Florida Association of Corporate Growth Board of Directors and on the Boards of two private companies, InterEz and Divmo, and is also on the Florida International University's Master in Finance Advisory Board; and
Mr. Colon serves as Director at Capital Road;
Prior to Capital Road, Mr. Colon was a consultant with Alvarez& Marsal's ("A&M") Private Equity Services Operations Group in Miami and New York.
In this role, he performed commercial and operational diligence on target companies on behalf of Private Equity funds, including ascertaining the sustainability of the companies' positions in their respective industries and improving the operations of under-performing companies.
Previously, Mr. Colon had spent two years in A&M;s Transaction Advisory Group and Tax Practice, concentrating primarily in the area of mergers & acquisitions.
He Sits on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School;
Mr. Colon is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and is currently sitting for the Series 7, 63, 79 & 82 licenses;
Mr. Colon earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Miami, Summa Cum Laude, and graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Valedictorian.
