The Empire State Railway Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the Catskill Mountain Railroads located in the historic Phoenicia Railroad Station in the heart of the Catskills. Enjoy guided tours, photos, restored train engines and caboose as well as lectures, events and our gift shop... Founded in 1960 and then moved to Phoenicia in 1983, The Empire State Railway Museum is open 10am-4pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
