Adriana Young

Adriana joined Family Priority LLC in September 2013. She earned her bachelor's degree in education and her master's degree in special education while studying abroad in Spain. She received her certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University and earned her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis in 2009. Adriana has worked with individuals with autism, physical disabilities, and intellectual disabilities since 2000. She has provided services to individuals and their families in a variety of settings including residential programs, homes, and schools. Adriana received most of her training at Ivymount School in Rockville, Md., where she worked for almost 10 years, receiving her training in ABA and teaching in both the Autism Program and the Multiple Learning Needs Program. Since moving to Richmond with her husband, Adriana has worked in Chesterfield County, heading up the SOL Autism classroom in one of the elementary schools and as the Clinical Director for the Dominion School for Autism and Spiritos School. In addition to talking about ABA and her experiences in the field, she also enjoys talking about her two beautiful sons.

Anne Stockbridge - Founder

Anne Stockbridge has worked for many years as a medical-surgical, psychiatric, and community nurse. She is a licensed Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing from George Mason University and a master's degree in counseling and psychological services from Marymount University. Anne Stockbridge has worked for many years as a medical-surgical, psychiatric, and community nurse. She is a licensed Registered Nurse. Anne Stockbridge has worked for many years as a medical-surgical, psychiatric, and community nurse. She is a licensed Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing from George Mason University and a master's degree in counseling and psychological services from Marymount University. Anne has worked as a mental health therapist, workshop presenter, and public speaker at The Women's Center and The Center for Counseling and Development. After providing intensive in-home services as a counselor, supervisor, and director in Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Arlington counties, Anne developed and currently manages Family Priority LLC, which provides intensive in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and their families and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual disabilities, and other emotional /behavioral disorders.

Ashley Cartwright

Ashley Cartwright joined Family Priority in January of 2023 and is a Resident in Counseling. She has a Bachelor's in Fine Art from Elizabeth City State University and a Master's in Art Therapy and Counseling from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to receiving her Master's Degree, Ashley worked as a teacher's assistant with preschool-aged children and as an art instructor. She believes in a person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally humble approach to in-home services. Ashley is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families; assisting them in improving communication and strengthening their connections.

Brittany Smith

Brittany earned her bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and her master's degree from Liberty University. She began working with Family Priority in 2021 after serving for two years as a Health Extension Agent in Senegal, West Africa with the Peace Corps. Brittany has been in the mental health field for over 15 years, working with children with Autism and at-risk youth. Prior to becoming the Clinical Director, Brittany served as an in-home staff and clinical supervisor. Brittany has a passion for serving youth and their families.

Carrie Glover

Carrie Glover graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2015 with a master's degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She worked as a BCBA at New Horizons Professional ABA services for six years and has been at Family Priority as the ABA Director for the Chantilly office for just over a year. Her favorite part of her job is helping children with autism achieve greater independence and self-confidence. In her free time, she likes to take trips with her family, volunteer at the animal shelter, cook, and garden.

Christine Clark

Christine received a master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University and has more than 20 years of experience providing services to children and families. She began employment at Family Priority in 2003, first as an in-home counselor and later as a clinical supervisor. In 2011, Christine was promoted to Regional Director of Family Priority's Southeastern Virginia programs and opened an office in Williamsburg. As Regional Director, Christine's focus is on the development of high-quality ABA and in-home mental services. She currently oversees a staff of 50 dedicated professionals who serve families in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, and the Middle Peninsula.

Clarissa L. Bryant

Meet Clarissa Bryant, a dedicated champion for individuals with special needs and a passionate professional in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her educational journey began at Old Dominion University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2011. While working as both a substitute teacher and a teacher's assistant, Clarissa discovered her deep love for creating inclusive and supportive learning spaces. She makes sure that students from all backgrounds, whether in general or special education, feel included, seen, and heard. In 2013, Clarissa completed her Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education, further enhancing her expertise. She then spent five years as a devoted educator for elementary and middle school students at New Horizon's Regional Education Center for Autism in Yorktown and Newport News, where she played a crucial role as a special education teacher. This experience deepened her commitment to serving individuals with special needs. In 2020, Clarissa achieved a significant milestone, graduating from Simmons University with a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. Following that, in 2022, she became a certified behavior analyst, solidifying her position in the field. Outside of her professional life, Clarissa actively engages with her community. She has been a valued team member at Family Priority, LLC in Williamsburg since 2015. Moreover, she generously contributes her expertise through part-time involvement in Center Stage Academy's "Joy of Acting" program and extends her support to organizations such as "Let's Mingle on the Peninsula" and the Greater Arc of Williamsburg, both dedicated to improving the lives of adults with disabilities. When not dedicated to positively impacting the lives of others, Clarissa enjoys pursuing her personal interests, which include regular workouts at Burn Bootcamp, cherishing the great outdoors, quality time with her family, and exploring new destinations with her husband, fueled by her love for travel. Clarissa's passion for making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals she supports at Family Priority, LLC, and her role in a vibrant team and community that shares her passion, is truly inspiring.

Jenna Garrett

Jenna graduated from Vanguard University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2001, which led to her teaching independent living skills to adults with developmental disabilities. She fell in love with the population and decided to go to Chapman University in order to pursue a master's degree in special education. She spent a total of four years teaching special education to students varying in age from 6 to 21 years old. As a special education teacher, Jenna taught some students who had autism, and their ABA therapists would occasionally come to school to work with them. She observed their strategies, as well as the positive relationships they developed with the children's families, and thought it looked rewarding. When she moved to Virginia, she began working as an ABA tutor and found that it was the greatest job of all time! She began working as a behavior assistant for Family Priority in 2012, then began taking courses through the Florida Institute of Technology to become a BCBA. She found out that she passed the BCBA exam on Christmas Day 2014, which was the best Christmas present she's ever received. She has been a BCBA at Family Priority since January 2015. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to ODU basketball games, going to the gym, and spending time with her husband and son.

Katherine Saunders

Katherine earned her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She earned her Master's of Science in Education with an endorsement in Special Education Adapted Curriculum K-12 from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She currently holds a teaching license in the state of Virginia. Katherine received their BCBA certification in 2023. Prior to obtaining her BCBA, Katherine worked in a classroom setting of an autism center for seven years. She also worked as an RBT for three years. She has an extensive background in functional communication training and is fluent in the implementation of a variety of AAC systems. Katherine has a passion for collaborative care, seeking to include all members of the team into treatment planning.

Michael Beringer

Michael joined Family Priority LLC in July 2023. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and his master's degree in psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis. He received his Board Certification in Behavior Analysis in 2019. Michael has worked with individuals with autism, phsycial disability, brain-injuries, and other neurodevelopmental and intellectual disabilities since 2015. He has provided services to individuals and their families in various settings including residential programs, acute care settings, clinical care settings, therapeutic day treatment, homes, and schools. Michael is a father of two children and happily married since 2007. Michael is a veteran of the armed forces and enjoys playing baseball and softball with his children.

Rachel Silva

In 2018, Rachel graduated from Christopher Newport University with her bachelor's degree. In 2019, she entered the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) while working as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), providing both clinical and in-home behavior intervention services for peninsula-based families. In 2020, she joined Family Priority, LLC, where she completed her supervised independent fieldwork hours required for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. In 2021, she graduated from George Mason University with a master's degree in special education and an ABA specialization. Upon graduating, she passed the BCBA exam and obtained her Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification. She enjoys the personability and prioritization of client-centric care afforded by providing in-home ABA services, as well as the opportunities for collaboration and continuity of care with her clients' other professional providers. She is originally from Hampton Roads, where she currently resides with her family and 2 mischievous beagles. In her personal life, she enjoys attending concerts and trivia nights, as well as exploring/walking trails.

Vanessa Davidson

Vanessa earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Christopher Newport University and her master's degree in Social Work from Simmons University. She began working with Family Priority in 2021 after receiving her master's degree. Vanessa has been in the mental health field for over 8 years, working with children diagnosed with Autism and at-risk youth through various community-based services. Vanessa currently serves as an intensive in-home counselor and clinical supervisor.
