Parsons is the Main Construction Manager (MCM) responsible for the Giant Mine Site and is now planning and delivering work packages related to site remediation... Parsons Inc has been working as the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project since 2017. The site is located on the Ingraham Trail, 5 km north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The role of the MCM is to complete the Giant Mine Remediation in accordance with the approved remediation plan and any associated authorizations and ongoing responsibility for overall Site control, including overall health and safety at the Site. Parsons also serves in the role of the Mine Manager, as defined by the Northwest Territories Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), conducting care and maintenance and environmental monitoring activities to ensure the Site remains in regulatory compliance during remediation.
