GLENMONT EXCHANGE

Glenmont Exchange is a neighborhood nonprofit organization that brings community and awareness to the Glenmont area... The Glenmont Exchange grew out of the community meetings for the Glenmont Sector Master Plan. Those meetings forged new connections across the community. It was useful that we talked with each other. We exchanged perspectives and insights, enlightening all of us. We created the Glenmont Exchange as a forum where those connections could continue. The name Glenmont Exchange embodies that purpose. The first meeting of the Glenmont Exchange occurred on April 4, 2012... Given our origins during the development of the Glenmont Sector Plan, the area around the Glenmont Shopping Center and the Glenmont Metro Station is a central focus. Beyond that, we focus on the area Glenmont Exchange's aim is to promote community in the Glenmont area, bounded by Norbeck Road, Northwest Branch, Northwood Terrace, Arcola Avenue, Parker Avenue, Viers Mill Road, Connecticut Avenue, Georgia..
