Our Mission is to serve the residents of Whitehorse and surrounding area and provide an opportunity to play on a local volleyball club team... As a part of the HEAT YUKON VOLLEYBALL CLUB team culture, we provide the opportunity for our players to succeed by developing a sense of self-worth, responsibility and empathy for others through the sport of volleyball to become positive role models in the community... Our club started with a hope to focus on providing volleyball at younger age categories and become a second club team for the older athletes in Whitehorse. We officially formed our club in 2016 by having our first U14 and U15 teams competing in the 2017 club season. We then added a Square 1 program for young athletes aged 8 to 11 years old. We also continued bridging the gap between square 1 and club teams by creating a u13 co-ed program, Lastly, we have been providing a drop-in time for adults to come and play and continue their love of the game of volleyball once a week.
