Robert is a seasoned businessman with experience spanning some 40 years. He is the founder of Dickerson Investments Proprietary Limited and is the former Chief Executive Officer and Group Chairperson of the Fidelity Services Group. He has previously held senior financial, sales and marketing, and CEO positions at the Chubb group of companies. He is currently a non-executive director of the Fidelity Security Group as well as a non-executive director of a number of other non-listed companies, including New Seasons Investment Holdings Proprietary Limited.
Robert joined the Insimbi board on 6 January 2017 as the Lead Independent Non-executive director and was formally appointed as the Chairperson in March 2018. R Dickerson is the chairperson of the Nominations Committee, member of the Remuneration Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee
