A founding partner of Ketterer Browne & Anderson, Brian Ketterer is recognized as one of the preeminent trial attorneys in the country, particularly in the area of plaintiff's complex civil litigation and catastrophic injury. Derek T. Braslow, with The Braslow Firm, LLC, located outside Philadelphia, PA, is a Partner to Ketterer Brown Associates, LLC and Chair of the Firm's Sexual Assault Litigation Group. Bringing over 20 years of complex litigation experience, Derek has spent his career seeking justice on behalf of individuals and families who have been taken advantage of by the greed and intentional conduct of large corporations and injured by defective products, dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, and medical devices. Derek is known for his compassion to clients and his passion for pursuing justice. Mr. Browne is a partner at KBA. He is passionate about litigating cases to aggressively uncover evidence, exclude opposing experts, and develop well-founded, trial-ready cases backed by sound evidence and innovative strategies and technology. He handles an array of cases but has focused primarily on mass tort (medical devices and other products), catastrophic injuries (including brain and spinal cord injuries), and class action cases. He has diverse experience in complex matters, including within consolidated actions in state and federal courts nationally. In short, if you have been taken advantage of or seriously injured, he is interested in speaking with you to have the privilege of fighting on your behalf. Mr. Browne's experience spans the entire spectrum from meeting with clients through trial work and appeals. He enjoys being part of litigation strategy planning and implementation, and is invited by other lawyers to develop their cases and consulted on litigation and trial strategy. As part of litigation teams, particularly within multidistrict litigations (MDLs) or state court consolidations, he is often charged with obtaining and responding to discovery, taking high-level depositions including of Rule 30(b)(6) corporate witnesses, corporate officers, and experts, and identifying and developing experts to support plaintiffs' cases, while cross-examining opponents' experts. Keith Smith is an associate at Ketterer, Browne and Associates, LLC. He has worked in mass torts for over twelve years. During this time, he has developed a passion for helping others and for fighting back against some of the world's largest corporations. Keith's practice focuses on mass torts, primarily on KBA's hernia mesh docket. He is involved in all aspects of hernia mesh, including helping the firm in its capacity as co-lead counsel for the Strattice litigations. Prior to joining KBA, Keith worked for two prominent nationwide law firms, practicing in both state and federal court, on the firms' Camp Lejeune, Elmiron, Essure, and pelvic mesh dockets. Lauren Henry is an associate at Ketterer, Browne and Associates, LLC. Having worked in the personal injury field for over fifteen years, she has developed a strong passion for client advocacy and giving her full attention to each and every client while pursuing justice for injured victims and their families. Whitney J. Butcher comes to KBA with extensive experience litigating products liability, mass tort, and single event cases.
