Marc Muchnick

Marc Muchnick is the President and Executive Director of Leadership Development at People First Group, LLC, which he founded in the early 1990s. For over 25 years, Dr. Muchnick has been an executive coach to leaders of name brand organizations across the globe as well as the go-to provider for engaging motivational keynotes, world-class leadership development programs, building high-performing teams initiatives, new leader assimilation, organizational assessment, and cutting-edge performance improvement consulting for a wide array of top-tier companies. He is also a professor at Capella University's Online School of Business and Technology since 1997, where he has been the recipient of the President's Award for Teaching Excellence and the Doctoral Mentoring Excellence Award, a President's Advisory Board member, and the Research Chair for almost 100 doctoral research dissertations. In addition, Dr. Muchnick serves as an executive coach for the Center for Creative Leadership and has authored the following bestselling books: The Leadership Pill; Naked Management: Bare Essentials for Managing the X-Generation at Work; and No More Regrets! 30 Ways to Greater Happiness and Meaning in Your Life. Moreover, Marc is the developer of the ENGAGE leadership model, the Engaging Leader Questionnaire (ELQ), and the Top-Performing Teams Questionnaire (TTQ) which are widely used throughout Corporate America. Dr. Muchnick earned his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, and a B.A. in Business Psychology from the Plan II Honor's Program at The University of Texas at Austin. He is a lifelong protégé of Ken Blanchard with whom he coauthored The Leadership Pill, which is a Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and Amazon bestseller. Marc loves to travel, ski, coach competitive soccer, listen to live music, and spend time with his family and friends. He is also a devoted husband, parent, and dog lover whose favorite volunteer activity has been being a Big Brother in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program of America.
