Aanya is a passionate lawyer and works in the Sports and Entertainment Law team at Krida Legal. She is a graduate of B.B.A. LL.B with Honours in Corporate Law from Amity University, Noida, with her alma mater being Welham Girls' School, Dehradun.
She has worked on matters relating to the production of television shows and films, execution of music licensing and artist agreements as well as organization of sports leagues. She has also drafted other documents, including legal opinions, terms & conditions and service agreements.
Being an avid sports and entertainment enthusiast and an athlete growing up, she has found a way to pivot her profession around her passion. She has played basketball and badminton throughout her school and university life and has previously represented the Uttarakhand state basketball team in the U-19 category and is also a Roger Federer fan.
Aashita is a proficient litigation attorney. She graduated with a degree in B.A.,LL.B.(H) and completed her post-graduation (LL.M.) in Dispute Resolution from O.P Jindal Global University, Sonipat.
She is an Associate in the 'Sports and Gaming Law' team at Krida Legal. Through her work in this field, she continues to combine her passion for Sports and Gaming with her legal acumen. Her passion for gaming adds an extra layer of enthusiasm to her work within the gaming industry. She is keenly aware of the legal challenges that arise in the rapidly evolving world of gaming.
Prior to joining Krida Legal, Aashita has worked on a wide range of complex legal disputes including white-collar crimes and has represented clients from various industries in litigation before Courts and Tribunals in various jurisdictions.
Aashita is an avid Dog lover. She loves to spend her leisure time swimming and cycling. Her hobbies include travelling, music, and baking.
Arunima is an ambitious and passionate lawyer with a specialisation in Corporate and Commercial Law. She has completed her Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom in 2020.
During her time in Manchester, Arunima has gained significant knowledge in International Arbitration and Mediation Law, Transnational corporate and capital markets Law, Intellectual Property Law, and International Investment Law, which has given her an in-depth understanding of the law in these fields on a multi-jurisdictional basis.
She has previously worked as an associate where she has played a major role in substantial growth in the automobile sector, sports and media, pharmaceutical, and intellectual property through several international agreements and has also been involved in transaction documentation work. With a plethora of knowledge of corporate and commercial law, she has led negotiations and advised on various issues to entities across the globe. She has also assisted in elements of civil litigation and client counselling.
At Krida Legal, Arunima advises professional athletes and organisations on issues around corporate, commercial and sports law at national and international sports federations, management companies and national sport associations.
Arunima is a sports and fitness enthusiast herself and loves to volunteer for community services. She ardently follows football and supports Manchester United.
Daisy is a graduate from National Law University Assam and has been a Sports Lawyer for over 2 years in the career span of 4 years since her graduation. She has been a litigator in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court amongst other courts of Delhi. She has a remarkable experience working for and affinity with the circle of office bearers and sports enthusiasts in various sports bodies both at national as well as state level.
She has not only advised and handled matters relating to the administration of the sports bodies but also has represented numerous athletes in anti-doping matters.
To her credentials, she has a post graduate diploma in Media Laws from NALSAR, Diploma in Copyright Laws in the Music Business from Berklee College of Music and a couple of years of experience in handling matters relating to Intellectual Property Laws and Media and Entertainment Laws.
Apart from her academic interests, she is also an inimitable music fanatic and a classically trained vocalist herself. Along with her musical talent, she has also played volleyball throughout her school-life at state and national level tournaments. She is a passionate artist at heart and symbolises both music and sports as a form of art.
Kartikeya Prasad is a qualified lawyer who works in the IP Team at Krida Legal, while also assisting the Sports and Gaming teams in various matters. He is a registered advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi. He graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2017, and subsequently obtained his LLM degree in 2018 from Queen Mary University of London, London in Intellectual Property Laws.
At Krida Legal, he has been managing the IP portfolios of various clients, while also drafting and filing forms and applications for new trademark applications, notice of opposition, affidavits etc. He has helped national as well as international clients in preparing their IP strategies, as well as transactions related to their IP portfolios. Along with IP laws, he has been actively working on Sports and Gaming matters at the firm. He has also authored various detailed legal opinions on emerging sectors like Crypto and Online Gaming.
Kartikeya is a sports and tech enthusiast and is an ardent follower of FC Barcelona. If not drafting the next agreement for an international federation of poker or gaming, he can be found lounging and reading about the latest tech developments or 18th Century battle tactics.
Kushagra is a qualified legal attorney at Krida Legal with diversified and specialised experience in the field of Sports Law and Sports Management. He holds an LLM Degree from the Real Madrid Graduate School in Madrid, Spain, wherein he completed a Masters in Law (LLM) in International Sports Law.
During his time in Madrid, he has gained considerable international experience in advising foreign and national athletes, sports agencies and franchises in cases pertaining but not limited to Dispute Resolution in sport, FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), International Weightlifting Federation, UEFA Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body and several Anti-Doping matters at various National Anti-Doping Organisations across Europe. He has also advised clients on setting up grassroots and amateur sporting leagues and academies in Spain and the United States of America.
At Krida Legal, Kushagra advises some of India's top tier athletes at national and international sports federations along with gaming companies, sports agencies, sportspersons and national sport associations on issues around corporate, commercial and sports law.
He has also gained significant experience in a Sports Management company based in India, wherein he made visible impact in the areas of contract and athlete management, sponsorship and sponsorship management, marketing and social media management the company. He also led negotiations with various brands, sports agencies and various other key stakeholders of the Indian sporting ecosystem.
Kushagra is also a passionate travel and sport enthusiast and believes in Seeking Discomfort. He has previously represented his state football team in the U-19 category and is an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC.

Mrs. Roopali Singhal is the Head for the Corporate and Commercial Team at Krida Legal. She is an expert in Corporate laws and is instrumental in incorporating companies, societies, trusts et al. for our clientele. Besides being a lawyer, Roopali is a qualified Company Secretary. She regularly advices clients on Corporate structuring and restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, issues relating to FERA/FEMA, Debts and Equities, Start-Ups, One Person Company etc.
Roopali has an eye for Art and Paintings and often discusses the works and painters with our Art and Cultural Property clientele.
Nachiket is a sports afficionado, and regularly plays basketball. He captained his high school and university basketball teams and represented his city and alma mater at various competitions. He is an ardent fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and also follows FC Barcelona. His other hobbies include listening to music, reading and watching movies.
P Jacob Ninan is a professional lawyer and an ardent football fanatic who works in the Sports and Gaming Law team here at Krida Legal. He graduated from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi in 2021 with his alma matter being Vidyodaya School, Kochi.
He has experience in the field of IPR and has further insights into the interconnection between IPR and Sports & Gaming. He also has considerable research experience in matters such as the difference between Game of Skill vs Game of Chance and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally, he has gained experience in the drafting the necessary during a Trademark Application process.
He was an Centre Back at his University team and further supports Manchester United and Kerala Blasters. He closely follows Football, Formula 1, UFC, NBA, Cricket and Boxing.
Pooja is a Partner with the Media & Entertainment Team at Krida Legal with an LLM in Entertainment and Business Law from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She has extensive domestic experience in the Media & Entertainment sector and is armed with a unique sense of the ever evolving needs of the media business and a strong understanding of the various laws applicable to the media and entertainment sector.
