LEASIDE SKATING CLUB

The Leaside Skating Club is dedicated to teaching the joys and skills of skating to people of all ages. Our beginner level programs focus on teaching the basic fundamentals of skating which are the necessary building blocks for all ice related activities be it hockey (girls and boys),  figure skating, synchronized skating, powerskating, speed skating or shinny! These skill sets are further developed in our intermediate and advanced level programs... The Leaside Skating Club  is sanctioned by Skate Canadaand is a non profit organization operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Club employs a staff of over thirty professional skating coaches who are responsible for all on ice instruction, and an administrator who is responsible for the day to day running of the organization. LSC has operated at the Leaside Arena since 1952 and the 2016/2017 season marks our 65th anniversary. Throughout this time LSC has been and continues to be an integral part of community life.
