Amit is a Partner and Head of Options Group's Los Angeles Office. Amit started his career with Options Group based in our New York office where he joined the firm in November 2015. Amit's expertise is with Senior Management and Senior Investment Professionals within Equities at Hedge Funds (Directional and Neutral) Asset Managers, Family Offices and Private Equity. Amit also has a strong knowledge base across Macro, Credit, Quantitative, and Commodity strategies.
Amit is also a senior member in the Options Group Global Buy side leadership team and also a leader in Options Group's Business Development effort across the firm's numerous verticals and offerings working with a wide variety of clientele and managing a team both in NY and in Los Angeles. Amit is often collaborating with our many product and regional experts, as well our intelligence unit (OGiQ) in these many efforts. Prior to this he was a Director of Alternative Investment Search with Long Ridge Partners, a boutique executive search firm focused on the alternative investment industry. Before that he was a COO & Managing Partner at 10X Partners. Prior to that he was a Business Development Manager at Edison Group. Before that he was a Director of Operations at Dunkin Donuts.

Bob Reed, a founding partner and president of New York-based Options Group, has died at the age of 51. "Today, we have lost someone who is irreplaceable to all of us," said the executive search firm in a statement, adding that his "legacy will be remembered and celebrated." Mr. Reed suffered from glioblastoma for the past 15 months, an aggressive type of cancer that can occur in the brain or spinal cord.
Mr. Reed, born Rajesh Malladi Shastry, started Options Group with CEO Mike Karp, at the age of 23. With deep subject matter expertise, extensive global experience, and intense drive, Mr. Reed was by all measures uniquely qualified to enter the rough and tumble world of executive recruiting in New York City. In time, a growing cadre of Wall Street clients came to depend on his talent advice.
In conjunction with his Options Group partners, Mr. Reed developed and implemented the firm's business strategy, and in the process provided trusted recruitment and strategic solutions in leading financial markets beyond New York. He spearheaded the launch of Options Group's Tokyo office in 2000, and his expertise in capital markets and investment banking has helped place senior level executives with global investment banks, hedge funds, asset management firms and private equity firms.
According to colleagues, he was a sought after specialist in sales and marketing, trading, securitization, principal investment, and research across all asset classes.
At Options Group, Mr. Reed was heavily involved in a myriad of areas, including oversight of the firm's market intelligence platform OG iQ, leadership recruiting, internship programs, university relations, talent development, succession planning, career development, diversity & inclusion, cultural stewardship, and performance management.

Meri Miller is a Managing Partner at Options Group. Meri joined the firm in 2006 and is based in the New York office. She has been instrumental over the past decade in assisting the leadership of global financial institutions and corporations to forensically analyze executive leadership qualities, cultural attributes and future potential in relation to talent strategy. As well as successfully delivering hundreds of talent engagements, Meri has partnered with some of the world's most innovative companies to solve a multiplicity of complex talent and business challenges with assistance from the firm's OGiQ unit. First and foremost, Meri has acted as a strategic advisor, providing key insight on all issues relating to executive assessment, on-boarding, inclusion and diversity management.
Prior to her current role, Meri held senior positions in global rates sales and trading. Her last role before joining our team was with Bank of America, where she was a Managing Director in Rates Sales focusing on Hedge Fund Coverage. Meri currently oversees our preeminent global macro business, providing insight and expertise to both bank and buy-side clients. She also works across the fixed income arena in credit, mortgages, EM, and FX. Her intimate understanding of the industry, along with her experience in serving the needs of the bank and hedge fund communities, has significantly broadened Options Group's coverage of these markets.
Meri is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management and has completed graduate coursework at NYU's Stern School of Business.

Push Patel is Managing Partner, Co-Chief Operating Officer & Co-Head of the Buyside Practice for Options Group. As part of his overall responsibilities, Push provides leadership and strategic vision to accelerate Options Group's revenue and brand across the entire organization.
Push Patel's leadership has helped Options Group achieve a market share dominance in the search and advisory industry making way for Founders, C level executives and management to create and scale world class sophisticated organizations.
For close to two decades, Push has led profitable build-outs for the buy-side across portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and high performance technologists. As a founding member of the electronic trading & systematic trading practice, his portfolio consists of leading hedge funds, proprietary trading shops and asset managers; leading investigative intelligence and recruitment to target the highest caliber of quantitative and technical minds. Push has also been instrumental in the expansion of the firm's artificial intelligence practice by advising fundamental trading firms invest into innovative solutions while keeping systematic houses relevant and continuously evolving. His team has also created a strong track record of bringing Silicon Valley's most innovative professionals into high-impact roles within the Financial Industry.
In addition to recruitment, Push's team also provides competitive intelligence management scans, management and cultural assessments, benchmarking and succession planning, market sentiment analysis, and compensation analytics and advisory. Push has led a process-driven, research-intensive methodology which truly differentiates Options Group from the competition.
Push joined the firm in 2004 and previously worked at IBM and JP Morgan Chase. A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, he began his career as a Network Engineer at Cingular Wireless. Push also has a keen interest in the field of Music Production and Engineering and owns his own recording studio.
