MAGNUM DEVELOPMENT

Magnum Development, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron, owns and controls the Western Energy Hub, a comprehensive development that includes a substantial surface and vast underground salt formation centrally located at the Western Interconnection in Delta, Utah. The hub is ideally suited for the storage of liquid and gases. The company has proven the viability of this resource by their development of Magnum NGLs which became Sawtooth Caverns. In 2019 Magnum Development entered into a joint venture with Mitsubishi Power Americas, to form ACES Delta. ACES I will utilize renewable energy (wind and solar energy) to produce utility-scale hydrogen, storing it in the salt caverns for use as carbon-free clean fuel... Magnum Development, LLC owns and controls the only known "Gulf Coast" style domal-quality salt formation in the western United States.
