WMTS

For 50 years, the AMTA has offered tennis-playing physicians the winning formula of five-day meetings that feature both scientific sessions for CME credit and a tennis tournament for all levels of proficiency. We have an annual spring meeting in Palm Springs, California, that coincides with the BNP Paribas Open at neighboring Indian Wells, with time to go watch the "pros" for those that so desire! We also venture to a fall Southeast site when interest supports a second meeting each year... The success of the AMTA was the impetus for establishing the World Medical Tennis Society (WMTS) in 1971, which is now active in over 50 countries. An American contingent has journeyed to Lima, Peru, the Czech Republic, the historic island of Malta, beautiful Lithuania, and most recently, Antalya, Turkey, for WMTS meetings in recent years... AMTA meetings in the U.S. have included Fall Classics at popular Florida beach resorts and the new USTA National Campus in Orlando, in addition to a sold-out..
