I am a general practitioner. Meaning, I handle most legal matters. I have support staff that have been with me for several years. I would not be able to do what I do on a daily basis without my staff. I live in Oconee County, Georgia where I run the Law Offices of Michael R. Childs, L.L.C. I am a Member of Briarwood Baptist Church. I am married and the father of two children... As a private attorney, I worked with one of the best attorneys I know: Alan M. Alexander, Jr. He gave me my first job when I came to Oconee County. Under Mr. Alexander, I handled a variety of legal matters: Auto Accidents, Divorce, Wills/Probate, DUI's, Domestic Violence, Drug Issues, etc... Working with Mr. Alexander, I handled dozens of personal injury cases with quite a bit of success and now, working on my own, I continue to have success handling personal injury matters.
