Alannah's family moved here from Detroit, Michigan when she was 7 years old. She has been here since. She graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School and attended North Idaho College. She has been married for 21 years and has two kids that attended North Idaho Christian School. Alannah has enjoyed being our librarian for the past 5 years.

Mrs. Stansberry has 10 plus years experience in teacher. She earned her Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Counseling and Biblical Studies from Southern Cal. Seminary. She is happily married and has no children. She enjoys anything Star Wars and Disney. She is so excited to be part of the team at NICS and loves serving Jesus here.
Mr. Felt has stepped in to co teach Kindergarten this year with his beautiful wife Nanette. We are so thankful for them and their faithfulness. Curry graduated from Portland State University with a BS in business administration. He has been in children's ministry for the last 15 years and has lead in BSF. They share 3 adult children and he loves to golf, camp, and fish.

Mrs. Moon is our online Ignitia teacher and also leads many of our school clubs such as Guitar, Games, and Art Club. She received her BS degree in Biology and Zoology from Cal Poly Pomona. She has her teaching certificate from Cal State. She has been married for 16 years and has 3 children that attend NICS. She loves to spend her free time watercolor painting, photography and quilting.
Mrs. Renz joins the NICS family this year and brings with her 7 years of teaching, 15 years in higher education administration, and 2 years with independent educational consulting. She graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, a minor in Psychology and coursework in Education and Spanish. She earned her Master's degree from Stanford University in Education with a emphasis in Secondary English Curriculum and Instruction. She has been married for 22 years and has 3 beautiful girls. She loves to spend her free time hiking, camping and walking. She is so happy to be here and loves all of our NICS students!
Mrs. James is our K-6 art and music teacher. She also teachers middle school choir and coaches our secondary worship team. She is a graduate of NICS and has earned her AA in Music. She is married and has a 3 year old Corgi. She enjoys all things music and loves to crochet when she has some free time.
Jeremy Scott has served on the board at NICS since January 2020. Both of his children attend NICS. Jeremy currently is a pastor at Freedom Fellowship Church in Coeur d' Alene. In 2001 Jeremy graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Resource Recreation and Tourism. After college Jeremy worked for Red Lion Hotels Corporation in Spokane, Washington as a Vice President of Digital Marketing. After leaving his corporate job to serve in ministry full time Jeremy went on to earn a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeremy and his wife Jennifer of 25 years enjoy serving in their church and love skiing and traveling with their two boys.

John Pilgrim, NICS Board member since January 2014. Mr. Pilgrim graduated from high school in 1988. He attended 1 year of college at North Idaho College. He spent several years working in the food industry and lumber supply business. Mr. Pilgrim has worked at Inland Empire Paper Company since 2001. He married his wife in 1996 and has 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl. All his kids attend North Idaho Christian School. Mr. Pilgrim calls Real Life in Post Falls his home church but relies on God and his home group to get through life. Mr. Pilgrim believes the bible is the infallible word of God and Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior!

Ms. O'Brien was born and raised in the Post Falls/CDA area. She has a B.S in Education from the University of Idaho. She is a mom of 8 and grandparent of 2. She loves camping, paddle boarding and road trips!
Ms. Tomlinson is a CDA native and loves her administrative assistant position at NICS. She has 2 sons and loves to spend her free time on the lake, camping and at home watching movies.
Mrs. Burch teaches a variety of secondary classes such as English, Cultural Geography, Bible and Senior Service Projects. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelors in International Relations/Political Science. She has been married for over 25 years and has 3 children. She loves to read, hike, and kayak. She is excited to be back at NICS teaching after many years of being away.
Mrs. Tomlinson teaches our Tools for Wellbeing class as an elective. She graduated from Northwest University with a Bachelors in Science and Nursing. She is married and has 2 children. She loves to spend her free time hiking, snowboarding, playing games and hanging with her friends and family.

Mike Empey, NICS Board member since March 2018. Mr. Empey graduated from Portland State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He worked in Las Vegas for 8 years in an environmental laboratory, during this time he was married and had a daughter. In 2002 they moved to the corporate office in Reno, Nevada. In 2005 he moved with his wife and young daughter to Post Falls, Idaho where he worked in the custom cabinet industry for 10 years. During this time, he had another daughter, who along with her older sister, have regularly attended Christian schools. All members of his home have given their lives to Jesus Christ and are members of local churches and serve in various ways. He believes strongly in the foundations taught in the Bible and that God's Word is without error and salvation is only attained by the saving grace of Jesus Christ. His children have been in Christian schools from their earliest ages because he and his wife believe they represent the values of Christ. Christian schools provide a needed healthy environment to aid young people's growth in Christ and where they learn to be good witnesses for Jesus. These schools are a valuable part of our communities where Christ can shine in an ever-darkening world lost in sin.

Mr. Sifford is our 2nd grade teacher. He has earned his Bachelors in General Studies and is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Elementary Education through Western Governors University. He is married and has 3 children. They enjoy camping, hunting, fishing and anything sports related!

Mr. Thomas is our Jr. High computer teacher, Intro to Coding and Pre-Calculus teacher. He has 2 certificates from Santiago Canyon College in Computer Science and Embedded Programming and Robotics. He is married with 3 children and enjoys activities with his family, playing at the lake, and electronic projects.

Mr. Carmona teaches Life Science, Earth Science, Pre-Algebra, Us History and Spanish for our secondary classes. He received his Bachelors in Psychology from Northwest Christian University. He is currently working on his Masters of Education in Elementary Ed. He has a wife and 3 young children. They enjoy watching movies together and playing games outside. He is excited for his new journey here at NICS!
Shelley graduated from the University of Idaho. She is certified K-8 with the State of Idaho. This is her 23rd year of teaching. She has taught 5th grade, and Kindergarten prior to teaching in first grade. She strives to meet her each student's developmental needs as well as teaching academic standards.
Mrs. Todhunter was born in Pennsylvania, but raised in California. She studied at St. Mary's College of Moraga, Ca. She came to the beautiful state of Idaho twenty years ago and has a long history in teaching, homeschooling, and tutoring. She loves the Lord with her my heart. She is the most grateful for her husband, children, parents, and country.
Mrs. Voigt is our face of our school. She works in our front office and can handle all the things that get thrown her way. She has a heart to serve and loves our NICS students and families well. She has her Associate degree from Northwest University and has been married for 13 years has 5 children. She enjoys the outdoors bike riding, hiking, boating and being with her family.
