As part of his PhD studies, Rishi Ramakrishnan is investigating the use of sky models, combined with geometry information for per-pixel radiometric calibration. The system we aim to develop is based on registered Lidar and hyperspectral data as provided by our automated multi-modal mapping framework. The Lidar will provide the geometry of the scene for direct and indirect illumination to be estimated.
