NOVA SCOTIA SPECIAL

Nova Scotia Special Needs Hockey Club, a.k.a. the Nova Scotia Highlanders, is a registered non-profit society that is a partner of Hockey Nova Scotia and a member of Special Hockey Internationa l and Canadian National Special Hockey. Started in September 2016, it provides an opportunity for male & female athletes with Autism, Asperger's, Down Syndrome or any other developmental disability that'd impair and/or prevent participation on a mainstream hockey team. Our program is open to eligible athletes who are age 5 and up including adults, of ALL skill levels & backgrounds to play hockey in an inclusive, fun-first environment.
