OLD GEORGIANS CRICKET CLUB

The aim of the Old Georgians' Cricket Club is to provide keen, enjoyable and positive cricket against our friendly rivals on the most attractive St George's ground, on which we are privileged to play... There had been an Old Georgian Cricket Club from 1875 but this did not survive the School's move from Croydon to Weybridge in 1884... Apart from the period of the First World War matches have been played against St George's each year. Raymond Bird, the Sports' secretary for many years, was indefatigable in raising teams and scored the first recorded century for the Old Georgian team.
