Jennifer Wilson

Jennifer Wilson is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She has her national certification with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). She is a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Jennifer is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Jennifer received her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario in 2003. Jennifer has 20 years of clinical experience providing services to children and adults with communication needs. She is a clinical supervisor for Speech-Language Pathology Masters' students from the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario as well as a supervisor for Communicative Disorders Assistant Students from Georgian College. Jennifer has extensive experience working with children with complex needs including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. Jennifer embraces a neurodiversity-affirming approach. Jennifer has a special interest in motor speech disorders, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication. Other areas of practice include pre-school and school-age language and literacy, articulation, as well as feeding and swallowing disorders. Jennifer enjoys providing assessment and therapy services to families, as well as collaborating with teachers, rehabilitation professionals, and other community care providers. Jennifer has extensive experience in early language facilitation techniques, and holds certification with Hanen in "It Takes Two to Talk", "Target Word", Learning Language and Loving It", and "ABC and Beyond". Megan Hennessey

Megan Hennessey is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech Audiology Canada (SAC). Megan received her Master of Science from the University of Alberta in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023. While in Alberta, Megan was an active member of her faculty, acting as class representative and leading her peers as President of the Rehabilitation Medicine Students Association. In 2017, Megan graduated from Laurentian University with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and with Minors in Ethics and in Health and Disabilities. Prior to beginning her degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Megan worked for several years supporting autistic children. Megan now has experience working in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories, having sought unique opportunities to experience Speech-Language Pathology across a variety of settings. Megan is passionate about understanding and enhancing the client experience. She facilitated the 2022 Organization of Alberta Students in Speech Conference, acting as panel chair. In this role, Megan brought together a panel of parents and adult clients who shared their experience of therapy in practice with virtual attendees. Megan enjoys working with both children and adults. She has a special interest in augmentative and alternative communication, motor speech disorders, pre-school and school-age language and literacy, articulation, aphasia, and autism.

Rachel Pond

Rachel Pond is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech Audiology Canada (SAC). Rachel received her Master of Science from McMaster University in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. Rachel was honoured with the Citizenship award for her leadership in the Speech-Language Pathology program at McMaster in 2018. Rachel graduated from the University of Guelph in 2014 with her Honours in Psychology and with a Minor in Family and Children Studies. Further, she attended Georgian College in 2015 receiving a Communicative Disorders Assistant Ontario College Graduate Certificate. Prior to entering Speech-Language Pathology studies at McMaster, Rachel worked for several years as a Communicative Disorders Assistant with children with a variety of communication needs including articulation, expressive and receptive language, and Autism. Rachel is experienced liaising with "parents as partners" in the therapy process. She is passionate about collaborating with parents, teachers and other community care providers to provide coordinated services and to ensure meaningful and functional outcomes. Rachel is dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and adults with a range of communication needs. She has a special interest in pre-school and school-age language and literacy, augmentative and alternative communication/ technology, articulation, and social communication. Victoria Charron

Victoria Charron is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC). Victoria was raised in Caledon, Ontario and previously completed a clinical internship at the Orangeville Speech & Language Clinic in 2018. We are so excited to have her working as a part of our clinical team! Victoria completed graduate studies at McMaster University and received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019. Victoria was honoured to receive the Ontario Graduate Scholarship at McMaster University and completed a research project examining the impact of mild traumatic brain injury on students returning to secondary and post-secondary education. Victoria is passionate about providing person-centred care and prioritizing each person's values and interests. Victoria has a special interest working with preschool and school-aged children and their families in the areas of language development, literacy, social-emotional development, speech sound disorders, complex communication disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication. She has experience providing assessment and therapy to both children and adults in a variety of settings. Victoria is committed to continuous learning and has completed advanced continuing education in assessment and treatment of phonological and motor speech disorders (PROMPT), assessment and treatment of multilingual and culturally diverse individuals, as well as the importance of play and neurodiversity-affirming practices related to best supporting autistic children and adults.
