To provide innovative research-led training of the highest quality - multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, focusing on the latest and most exciting horizons of theory and practice in the arts and humanities, and developed in collaboration with our students.
To ensure that strategic non-HEI partners are woven into the fabric of the consortium, sharing in its management and assisting in the design and delivery of training and placements.
To incorporate a strong international component, offering our students as much opportunity and encouragement as possible to develop their academic projects and broader interests beyond local, regional and national constraints.
The three universities share extensive expertise in delivering successful doctoral training, developed in collaboration with our students and a wide range of non-HEI partners. Jen manages the DTP's operations, partnership working, finances and reporting. She also supports the Management Board with the development and implementation of strategy. Jen is available to support current students and their supervisors with questions about extensions to studentships, AHRC support for interruptions to study and other funder expectations and/or regulations.
Naomi assists with various tasks in the office and is the first point of contact for all general enquiries. Please contact Naomi if you have any questions about applying for OOC DTP studentship funding, or the Additional Funding Scheme for current students, and cannot find the answers on our website.
Palak evaluates the impact of the DTP's Positive Action initiatives and develops plans to increase diversity and representation in the PGR community. She also helps build student networks and relevant training, as well as promoting an inclusive research and training environment with the DTP's partner institutions.
