PIGASUS VINEYARDS

We have been stewards of this wonderful property since late 2016, when we bought Alta Ridge Vineyards from Jim and Barbara Morris. The Morrises planted their first vines back in 2000 and lovingly cared for them before entrusting the place to us... At roughly 850 feet of elevation, the Pigasus Vineyard sits in both the Bennett Valley (southeast end) and the Sonoma Mountain AVAs (the western end). This family-owned property produces fine wine grapes including Assyrtiko, Chardonnay, Falanghina, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Vermentino, Cab Franc (coming soon), Merlot, and Syrah ... The 15-acre vineyard is a beautiful rolling hillside plot with grape vines rooted in a well-drained mix of soils from sandy loam to clay loam, with moderate amounts of small volcanic rocks..
