Alexander Treshchev

Alexander Treshchev is an attorney practicing law in Moscow Russia. He earned his degree from the prestigious M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University law school. Upon completion of his studies, he was assigned to service in North Korea and Afghanistan. By decree of then-President Michael Gorbachev, he was appointed as a judge in the military court of the armed forces. However, he subsequently left this career on ideological grounds and without any legal repercussions from the government. Thereafter, Alex worked in various consulting legal and consulting firms and represented numerous high level politicians and officials of the top companies of Russia. He has protected the Federation Council in matters before the Constitutional Court, as well as defended the interests of the Russian Federation abroad. Many of the legal cases in which Alexander Treschev played a leading role were widely covered in the Russian and foreign mass media. Alex is one of the best known lawyers in Russia, is currently President of the European Lawyers Association in Russia, and is actively engaged in professional and public work in and on behalf of Russia. Alex is very visible in nationally broadcast television and radio programs and is the author of a best-selling series of books entitled "National Lawyer." These books present legal issues, situations and approaches to solutions in plain, understandable language. Before entering the private sector in 1990, Mark Robertson had a strong and distinguished career on Capitol Hill. He spent more than 17 years in the Senate and House of Representatives as a senior staff member to various senators and congressmen. During his tenure on Capitol Hill, Mr. Robertson developed significant experience in the areas of Senate and House political and parliamentary procedure, as well as in the substance of legislative and regulatory issues affecting international trade, energy policy, national defense and intelligence, telecommunications, financial services, and international relations. Mr. Robertson provides strategic counsel to multinational corporations, domestic and foreign industry associations/chambers, and foreign national and state governments on all manner of issues related to markets development and access, political positioning, crisis management/avoidance, and issue management. In addition, he has developed and executed federal and multi-state advocacy campaigns on behalf of numerous multinational companies. Mr. Robertson was a principal member of Mexico's team lobbying the Administration and Congress for passage of NAFTA and subsequently served as an advisor in the successor USMCA Trade Agreement in 2017/2018. Since the early 1990s, he has worked on many of the most challenging issues on the bilateral, U.S.-Mexico agenda on behalf of various Ministries, companies and industries in Mexico. In the private sector, he served as strategic counsel and project coordinator for the largest cross-border Mexican bank acquisition in the United States, and the cross-border acquisition of a 41-state money transmitter, both of which successfully closed. Currently, Mr. Robertson is working extensively with numerous Romanian interests in the public and private sectors in support of foreign capital investment within the country and the region, most recently in broadcast and digital media investments focused on reinforcing the presence of free and fair news reporting. He successfully worked with the Colombian government on specific programs to improve efforts to counteract drug trafficking, terrorism and kidnapping within the nation. As the representative for several private companies in the Balkans, he has helped establish partnering agreements with U.S. multinational corporations, including those specializing in energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and television broadcasting/distribution. Furthermore, he is involved in the promotion of certain high-profile projects in the energy sector that will directly impact regional and global energy security. In the past, Mr. Robertson has also served as a strategic counsel to the presidents and/or ministers of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Venezuela, Serbia, Romania, The Gambia and others. Mr. Robertson is Chairman and President of Ellaal Goldberg Corp., a U.S. corporation providing for investments in broadcast, print and digital news media in Eastern and Western Europe. He also served as President for the European Institute for Risk, Security and Communication Management. EURISC is a non-governmental foundation focused on promoting dialogue, education, training and research on major issues of national and international security. The institute is based in Bucharest, Zurich and Washington, D.C.

Carlos has had a long and distinguished career in both the public and private sectors in Mexico.Prior to establishing Pretium, S.C. in 2001, he served as Mexico's Under Secretary of Fisheries for nearly ten years. In that capacity he was responsible for regulating Mexico's globally significant fisheries industries, representing Mexico before such international forums as the UN Food and Agriculture Organization; the Inter American Tropical Tuna Commission; and OLDEPESCA, the organization of Latin American Fisheries Organizations. Mr. Camacho played a leadership role in the negotiation and implementation of such landmark international fisheries agreements as the UN Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries as well as the Agreement on the International Dolphin Conservation Program. He also actively participated in the negotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Mexico-E.U. Free Trade Agreement. Carlos also served as Mexico's Undersecretary of Tourism on two occasions, during which time he was chosen as vice president of the World Tourism Organization in Madrid; Director General of Foreign Investment, leading the biggest change in policy in the initial opening of the Mexican Economy; and as Director General of Statistics, where he was in charge of conducting and finishing the Population Census of 1980. Since establishing the Pretium consulting firm in 2001, Carlos Camacho and his associates have represented governmental institutions and many well known national and multinational clients from the telecommunication, retail, mining, energy, tourism, transportation, agricultural and biotechnology industries. Their services to these clients include economics, environmental assessment, antitrust law, financial and commercial analysis, tourism and fisheries, and direct foreign investment. In the academic arena, Carlos has taught several economics topics at various prestigious Universities in Mexico and abroad, including Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México(ITAM), Colegio de México, Universidad Iberoamericana, University of Texas at Austin, and Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, where he was recently appointed Dean of the School of Foreign Relations.In the course of his government service, he received the "Francisco de Miranda" award from the Governments of Venezuela and was bestowed with the "Merit Order" by France.
