Since 2017, Reid has been a member of the Austrian Senior National Team coaching staff, and helped lead Team Austria to a 2017 B-Pool European Championship in Belgrade, Serbia. Following a defeat of Team Israel in the 2017 final and a series sweep of Team Lithuania in the 2018 European Championship A-Pool Qualifier, Team Austria advanced out of the B-Pool for the first time in the country's history. At the 2019 A-Pool European Championship in Bonn, Germany, Team Austria notched victories over Croatia and Great Britain. Two years later in Torino, Italy, wins over Belgium, Slovakia and Sweden at the European Championship validated Team Austria's continued rise within the European baseball ranks... During his time in Perth, Reid established a coaching accreditation program for West Australian baseball coaches, and was responsible for certifying more than 75 coaches.
