Jamaican cuisine is a combination of cooking methods, tastes, spices and influences from the natives of the island. It also includes those of the Spanish, British, Africans Indians and Chisese who live there. Crops introduced into the island from Southeast Asia have also had a major influence on Jamaican cuisine... Jamaican cuisine includes dishes introduced into the island by the various cultures that inhabit the island. There are also dishes that are a fusion of different dishes from multiple cultures, a hybrid so to speak of the cooking, dishes, spieces and crops of these culture... Jamaican / American cuisine. Jerk Chicken/Pork just like back home. Curry Goat and Chicken. Steam Red Snapper. Escovitch Talapia. Ackee and SaLtfish. Steamed cabbage/spinach. Mac and Cheese. Jamaican fruit cake Fried Plantains. And last but not least Wings…jerk, bob marley, lemon pepper and lord more.
