Judith T. Abraham

Judy Abraham is survived by her brothers, George Abraham (Betsy) and Vincent Abraham (Linda); nieces and nephews, Jessica, Jeremy, Marie, Jeff, Sarah and Meghan; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Judy made a career for herself at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation where she retired at the age of 55. Following her retirement, Judy took great pride in caring for her mother and father to ensure they were comfortable during their final years of life. Following their passing, Judy pursued a part-time career with the Town of Colonie's Division of Pure Waters and spent the rest of her time focused on her passion for fitness, shopping, and enjoying her time with family and friends. On behalf of Judy, her family and friends would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Sharon Tietgens, her longtime friend and Primary Care Physician who provided love, support, and medical expertise to her and her family over the last 10+ years. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Kristin St. Andrews (RN) and Haley Soto (PCA) of Albany Medical Center for their patience and care during her time of passing. And lastly, a very special thank you to all of Judy's friends who stood by her side and supported her throughout this challenging time. May we never forget Judy's personality and her ability to put a smile on anyone's face just by being herself. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Mary's Church, 10 Lodge St., Albany followed by interment in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
