Amy Bonser began her career over 20 years ago as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pediatric ICU. After her best friend received the gift of a life-saving double lung transplant in 2003, Amy refocused her career to work in organ procurement. She has held both clinical and leadership roles in the OPO industry and is professionally and personally committed to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Amy joined DCI Donor Services in February 2020 to develop and oversee the Business Intelligence, Performance Improvement and Death Record Review departments. These teams are committed to increasing donation and saving more lives by utilizing data to drive decision making and process improvement initiatives at DCIDS's three Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) in Tennessee, New Mexico, and California as well as DCI's Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Service's Eye Bank.

Greg joined DCI Donor Services as the Director of Information Technology in February of 2008. Greg's responsibilities focus on the development and support of the technology platforms in use across the entire organization. Since joining DCIDS Greg has built a strong cross-functional team of 10 people - including support personal, administrators, developers, and analysts - who continue to move the organization forward in the use of technology which supports the mission of saving and enhancing lives. Before joining DCIDS, Greg worked over 20 years in the automotive tooling industry, focusing exclusively on Information Technology over the last 15 years. He last served as the Vice President of Information Technology with Synergis Technologies in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Gretchen Budde

Gretchen Budde leads the DCIDS "Bridge to Life" call center operation, which coordinates donor referrals and communicates with families during the donor process. She leads a dedicated and compassionate staff that works 24/7 to support families with information and compassion. Because she is a donor family member herself, Gretchen is passionate about offering families hope in their darkest moments through the gift of donation. Her commitment to serving donors and their families ensures everyone is given the opportunity to share the gift of donation. Gretchen joined DCIDS in 2018 with over 13 years of progressive experience in the field. She continues to foster professional development through team collaboration and the pursuit of incremental and continuous improvement. Gretchen holds designations as a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) and a Certification in Thanatology (CT) from the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Gretchen also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Public Administration-Healthcare and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Lakeland University.

Jill Grandas

Jill Grandas is 32-year veteran of the organ procurement and tissue banking industry. In her role overseeing Tennessee Donor Services (TDS), Jill leads a team of selfless, hard-working people who are committed to saving and improving lives. Jill is a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) and a Registered Nurse (RN). She began her nursing career in 1985 in a neurological intensive care unit where she participated in several organ and tissue donor experiences. As a result of those experiences, she became an Organ Recovery Coordinator at TDS in 1987. Her role with DCI Donor Services expanded over the years, with positions that included Director of Hospital Services, Associate Director, and Executive Director for the Tennessee location. Jill became the Executive Director for DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) in 2005. Jill is an active member of the Association of Organ Procurement Organization, where she currently serves on the committees for Standards and Accreditation and Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. In past years she also served on committees for the UNOS Membership and Professional Standards and Kidney/Pancreas. Jill most recently participated in forming the new Tissue Policy Group (TPG).

Joel Smith

Joel continues to lead the organization to record-breaking Tissue Recovery numbers. He is most proud of the innovations and progress his team has made in streamlining procedures that reduce redundancy and increase efficiency while improving benchmarks for recovery metrics. He began his career at Mississippi Organ Recovery Organization, then served at Donor Network West and LifeShare of Oklahoma. As past Chair of the AOPO Tissue Council, Joel made it his mission to increase collaboration among tissue recovery organizations. Joel is a graduate of the Art and Science of Leadership program at Wharton's School of Business and earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University. Joel is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Stephanie Cozby

Stephanie Cozby has been in organ procurement and tissue banking for nearly 20 years, with extensive experience overseeing hospital development, organ recovery, business operations, and IT staff. Over the last eight years at DCIDS her leadership knowledge and deep understanding of healthcare and operations management has been a significant asset in developing and integrating the company's quality and compliance systems with operations. Stephanie started her career as clinical operations manager in a leading non-profit organ procurement organization. Her responsibilities included overseeing the business-related activities pertaining to donation operations, from managing organ recovery coordinators to maintaining third-party relationships with key vendors. From there she became Senior Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance for New Mexico Donor Services, overseeing the organization's internal auditing, training and performance improvement initiatives to implement quality and operational effectiveness across the organization. Stephanie is proficient in the regulatory standards of APOP, UNOS, CMS, AATB AND the FDA.

Teresa Thompson - CFO

As CFO, Teresa Thompson oversees all financial operations for DCIDS's three Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) in Tennessee, New Mexico, and California as well as DCI's Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Service's Eye Bank. Teresa joined DCI Donor Services in 2007 with more than three decades of corporate accounting and management experience. During her tenure, she significantly reduced year-over-year expenses while increasing revenues approximately 120 percent. She also transitioned DCIDS to a new accounting and payroll system and implemented numerous accounting procedures and internal controls while leading the annual budgeting process. Teresa began her career in public accounting with increasingly responsible roles up to and including that of audit partner. In 1990 she transitioned to private accounting within the healthcare industry, serving as Controller for the American Retirement Corporation (currently Brookdale Senior Living) and Vice President of Finance for National Rehab Partners, Inc. She also spent several years as an independent accounting business consultant before joining DCIDS, advising clients for inpatient rehab centers, diagnostics, surgery centers, and hospitals. Teresa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA).
