Ellen Cramer-Todd

Ellen started playing tennis at Tunbridge Wells JTS when she was 8 years old and trained from the age of 10 at Maidstone Tennis Academy. She has represented Kent and played National and International Junior Tournaments and at 18 years of age achieved a full ride scholarship to the State College of Florida, USA. She especially loves playing doubles and thrives in team tennis. She was privileged to play number 1 for the Aegon U18 and Ladies Division 1 League and fulfilled her dream, playing at Queens and Wimbledon. Since returning to the UK, Ellen has worked full time for 2 1/2 years, teaching sport to Primary children for the Tonbridge West Kent School Sports Partnership. She is a fully qualified Level 2 Tennis Coach, soon to qualify for the Level 3.

Helene Jackson

Helene is the manager of Sevenoaks Tennis Centre, overseeing the coaching programme for 250 juniors. Helene played tennis competitively as a junior, and with Belinda Orchard won the British Girls' National U16 doubles title at Junior Wimbledon. Helene started coaching tennis at home, and after a spell at Edenbridge Golf Club, moved to West Heath in 2001. Today the Sevenoaks Tennis Centre programme, which takes place at West Heath, Sennocke Centre at Sevenoaks School and Sevenoaks LTC is ranked as one of the leading tennis programmes in the South-East.

Howard Phillips

Howard started playing tennis at 8 years old and became involved in coaching aged 15. After having completed A levels in Physical Education and Psychology, he began coaching full time at age 18. He joined Sevenoaks Tennis Centre & LTC in January 2012, and is qualified as a Licensed LTA Level 3 coach. He provides group coaching for adults and juniors, and in addition to this, has availability for individual adult coaching midweek, during the day. As well as his work at Sevenoaks, Howard coaches at Chipstead LTC and heads up the coaching programme at Hildenborough LTC. Howard also offers a racket stringing service. Justin McCue

As a junior, Justin played at both a county and national level at U14 & U16, before taking up a tennis scholarship at West Chester Uni. He was the Kent doubles champion in both 1981 & 1982, and played for 5 years in the Kent team at County week. Justin has 30 years coaching experience, having worked in US, Norway, New Zealand, Spain and UK. He currently holds both LTA qualifications (part 1 & 2) and is USPTR qualified. He works with a wide variety of juniors and adults.

Max Robinson

Max starting playing tennis at the age of 14. Despite a later start, he played in the U18 county team, reached national ranking levels in both singles and doubles whilst at university and won a tennis scholarship to study in Texas. Max began a career in coaching in 1997. He is both a LTA Performance Coach and a Kent County Captain. He has worked at Sevenoaks Tennis Centre & LTC for over 15 years, during which time he has worked with players from beginner level up to world ranked juniors. In addition to his work with juniors, Max currently coaches many of the adult team players and has some availability for adult individual or group lessons midweek daytime.
