Anesh Soonder

The role I fulfil involves managing the firm at a strategic and high-level operational level. I am an admitted attorney and I hold the following qualifications, BA Law LLB from the University of Natal, a Master of Laws (LLM) with the University of South Africa, I also hold Certificates in Compliance Management and Finance from the Compliance Institute of South Africa and WITS Business School respectively. I have a strong entrepreneurial nature, which ultimately forced me to leave the corporate world and venture into the world of running my own business. I have built, managed and grown the firm sustainably and consistently over the last five and a half years. During the same time I have established and managed other businesses with much success. In addition to running the firm I fulfil various other roles on several boards of retirement funds such as legal consultant to the Private Security Sector Provident Fund, Independent Trustee to the Private Security Sector Unclaimed Benefits Fund, Independent Audit Committee Member and Trustee to the Motor Industry Funds, former Chairperson to South African Institute of Chartered Accounts (SAICA) Staff Pension Fund, Chairperson of the Harbour Wealth Funds and Principal Officer to Hollard Staff Funds. On a personal note I firmly believe in the adage mind management is the essence of life management.

Chantal holds a BCom. Finance degree and BCom. Honours degree in Business Management. She has a passion for compliance and regulations as well as and helping people to overcome their difficulties they may face. Chantal works with several charities and assists with helping those less fortunate. She is a mother of two and always pushes herself to achieve more so that she can be a good role model to her children. Chantal has worked at Absa Bank for 8 years, in both Asset Finance and International Trade, thereafter she moved the Metal Industries bargaining council for just over as a funds Agent working. Her last assignment before moving to Soonder Incorporated was with the Mindoro Group, where she was an administrator for 3 years, working with the rest of the pension fund act.

Tejal is an LLB graduate from the University of Witwatersrand. She has served her articles of clerkship in Johannesburg. Her experience extends to civil litigation, criminal litigation, labour law, family law as well as personal injury law. She has a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution and she would like to pursue a Masters in Tax Law. She is a team-player who is motivated, reliable and committed to providing the best possible client service. She is extremely well-organised and she is not one to back down from a challenge. Tejal is an avid fan of Harry Potter and she enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her friends and family.

Vinay's various roles involve the overall operational management of the firm and the support of the firm's S13A Collections Team, as the S13A Collections Consultant on an independent basis. His 23 years of business experience, supported by his Higher Diploma in Business Management with distinction, holds him in excellent stead to manage operations within the firm, which is a highly dynamic environment. He firmly believes in executing his functions with the highest standards of professionalism whilst delivering a quality service with integrity along all facets of the firm. His many years in business has aided him with regards to negotiations, settlement and client management, thereby ensuring the best possible outcomes for client and the firm simultaneously. He is driven by a high work ethic and similarly this is the ethic he utilises to motivate all staff of the firm. He strongly believes that operational efficiency is a feature that all businesses should strive for and in that way one not only builds a sustainable business but also a viable country.
