STARFLEX - Key Persons
Taking an idea and bringing it to fruition always gives me a sense of accomplishment.
I joined Starflex in 2019, but I knew from an early age that the metal and fabrication industry was where I was meant to be. I picked up the welding bug in high school while enrolled at West GA Tech and have spent the following years tirelessly building my skills, knowledge, and certifications.
I really enjoy the design and creation of each project - the more complicated, the better! I tend to think outside of the norm to accomplish difficult tasks; occasionally, this leads to accomplishing previously unattainable goals.
When I'm not pondering process improvements or creating metal masterpieces, I'm pursuing personal improvements and creating family memories.
What I enjoy most about the manufacturing process is seeing things go from raw materials to a finished product.
I come from a family with a long history in the metal fabrication industry, and joining in their footsteps felt natural to me. With that being said, I knew Starflex was the best place for me to gain every bit of experience I could as I further my education because their dedication to providing the highest quality customer service through continual process improvements extends to all aspects of operations.
When I'm not shuffling papers or studying for exams, I'm outside counting birdies or enjoying the company of friends and family.
I've always been fascinated by the process of starting with raw materials and creating a part or assembly.
I've been at Starflex for almost 13 years. I started in shipping and receiving but moved up through the ranks into machine operation, sheet metal specialist, and then on to engineering and operations as a fully certified fabrication engineer.
I enjoy the entire process, from using our design software to creating interactive 3D models to handcrafting the finished assemblies. I have a knack for envisioning what the customer envisions, and I love bringing their ideas into reality.
When I'm not tinkering with CAM codes or fabricating quality components, I'm improving my bowling average or enjoying a relaxing afternoon out in nature or my trusty recliner.
My favorite part of the manufacturing process is watching a concept come in as a print and then seeing the finished product
I have been at Starflex for eight years this past September. When I earned my MBA from Strayer University, I never expected to come into the metal fabrication industry, but when I got here, it just fit. Nothing satisfies me more than meeting new people, developing new relationships, solving problems, and contributing to the growth of any venture I am involved in, both personally and professionally.
When I'm not crunching numbers or marveling at the latest completed project, I'm orchestrating childhood adventures and seeking out the wild places.
