Education Programs: The education component is a big part of the Story of Hawaii Museumís mission statement. We seek to inspire all to engage with our exhibits, collections, and reference materials through our programs and resources. The museum is currently developing the curriculum to meet the performance standards for Hawaiian history as set by the State of Hawaii Department of Education. We are working with active and retired instructors from the DOE, University of Hawaii Maui Campus and local private schools to develop programming. Our goal is to have every Maui student tour the exhibit at some point during their school experience. School rates are available upon request.
