SUSTAINABLE LEARNING

In 2015, Bristol was awarded European Green Capital and a programme of events and engagement was established to celebrate all 'green' things in Bristol. Funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change and sponsorship from KPMG, Skanska, First and Bristol City Council helped us create a National Schools Programme for 7-11 year olds. We also delivered curriculum led workshops to 30,000 children in Bristol and took over 3000 children on fieldtrips... Through the provision of our curriculum-linked teaching resources, we aim to make it easier for educators to discuss topics around sustainability and inspire the younger generation to be changemakers... Sustainable Learning connects teachers with free learning resources to inspire children about sustainability through National Curriculum learning.
