TERRITORIAL CAPITAL SPORTS MUSEUM

The Territorial Capital Sports Museum is located in Guthrie, Oklahomas First Territorial and State Capital. The goal of the museum is to Promote Oklahoma's Athletic Heritage and to celebrate Oklahoma's sports heroes... The TCSM is the dream of Coach Richard Hendricks, Ferguson Jenkins, (Hall of Fame and Harlem Globetrotters) and Hubert "Geese" Ausbie. They wanted to honor the many Oklahoma athletes who have, over many years, inspired passion for sports in the state. Preserving these sports traditions with historical memorabilia has been a project that came to fruition in 1993 when the Oklahoma Sports Museum Association opened the Oklahoma Sports Museum in Guthrie. This year, the Museum takes on a new life as the Territorial Capital Sports Museum.
