Dr George Paltoglou

Dr. Paltoglou is the principal dentist at The Melbourne Smile Centre. He commenced practice in 1987 and holds a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne. He is a member of the ADA (Australian Dental Association), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the European Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry. George is passionate about his work in Cosmetic and Aesthetic dentistry and continues his post-graduate studies both in Australia and overseas, keeping up to date with the very latest cosmetic dental techniques which enables him to provide the very best consultative and clinical care to his patients.

Dr Ido Landau

Dr Ido Landau graduated with a Masters of Dentistry and Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry from La Trobe University. Ido's passion for learning has led to academic excellence, having completed his third, fourth and final fifth year at the top of his class. In addition to this, Ido was the recipient of the following accolades in the final year of his studies; the Australian Dental Association's Fifth Year Prize, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons' 2022 prize and the 2022 Vic West Memorial Prize.

Dr Matthew Youssef

Dr Matt graduated with a Masters of Clinical Dentistry from La Trobe University in addition to a Bachelor of Health Science. Matthew excelled amongst his peers, completing top of the class in Clinical Dentistry.

Joyce Harnick

Joyce Harnick is a registered Dental Hygienist, whose education includes, an Associate of Applied Science from Thomas Jefferson University, USA, Bachelor of Science from Thomas Jefferson University, USA, and she also completed her premedical prerequisites from Temple University, USA. She is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Victorian Branch (DHAAVB) and the Australian Society of Periodontics Victorian Branch (ASPVB). Joyce has been practicing in private practice since 1984, in the speciality area of Periodontics. Her experience also includes being a periodontal clinical demonstrator for undergraduate dental students at Temple University School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, USA and a clinical demonstrator for dental hygiene students in the Diploma in Oral Health Therapy Programme at Melbourne Dental School at The University of Melbourne. Joyce is committed to providing the highest level of professional preventive care.

Kanella Tsaconas

Kanella Tsaconas is a registered Dental Hygienist, who graduated from Adelaide's Gilles Plains Dental Institute in 1988. She is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia, Victoria Branch (DHAAVB) and the Australian Society of Periodontics, Victorian Branch (ASPVB).

Laura Micutz

Laura Micutz is a registered Oral Health Therapist, graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor in Oral Health. She is dually qualified in dental hygiene and dental therapy, with a special interest in orthodontics and children's dentistry. She is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Victorian Branch (DHAAVB) and Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapist Association (ADOHTA). Laura has been trained in both public and private sectors, Laura is dedicated to providing the highest level of professional preventive care, with a focus on children and young adults. Laura has a strong interest in providing a holistic approach to effective oral health education and oral hygiene instructions as a way of helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health, especially from a young age. She particularly enjoys developing rapport with the children and their families she treats. Her aim is to always help make dental experiences as pleasant and comfortable for all her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two German shepherd dogs.
