Adam Nielsen - CEO

Adam Nielsen serves as PHS Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he helps develop long-range goals and objectives as well as formulate and administer company policies. He also oversees all PHS day-to-day operations and leads the company's continued growth and service delivery. Prior to joining PHS in September 2021, Nielsen had a long-standing history of working with high-quality, mission-driven, multi-site healthcare organizations. He most recently served as Chief Strategy & Development Officer for Center for Diagnostic Imaging (now Rayus Radiology), one of the nation's leading providers of diagnostic imaging. Prior to CDI, Nielsen served as CEO of Great Lakes Caring, a leading provider of home health and hospice services where he led the expansion and acquisition efforts of the Company. During his time at Great Lakes Caring, Nielsen was named one of Glass Door's Top 100 CEOs. Nielsen earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan.

Andy Willhelm

Andy currently oversees operations in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, and Florida. With 28 years in DME and Home Care, Andy founded Central Ohio Specialty Care and Advanced Medical Equipment and began his role at PHS in May of 2021 following the acquisition of AME/COHC. He graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1997 with a BS in Business Administration and a Finance Major. Andy lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife and three sons.

Cameo Zehnder

Cameo Zehnder, JD, is chief administrative officer at PHS. In this role, she oversees government relations advocacy, payer strategy, and employee engagement. Prior to her role as CAO, Cameo has held numerous positions at PHS. She previously served as CEO, leading the organizational strategy and seeing the company grow from 2 locations to 11; was general counsel, advising on legal issues that may arise; and chief operating officer, overseeing customer service, information technology, billing, compliance & quality, and government relations. She held the role of managing director of regulatory affairs from 2007-12, where she directed accreditation, quality improvement, risk management, and compliance activities. She was also manager of customer service at PHS. Cameo serves as a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), as well as the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), and the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES). A Minnesota native, she has been with PHS since 1994. She earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.

Chad Svihel

Chad Svihel joined the PHS team in September of 2021 as the Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this role, he is responsible for directing the warehouse management team, the biomedical team, and the procurement team. With a rich history in executive leadership, Chad has held previous positions in insurance and e-commerce both locally and abroad since 2003. He lives with his wife in MN and has two grown children, a son, and a daughter.

Dana Johnson

Dana Johnson is the Senior Director of Marketing at PHS. In this role, she strategizes, develops and oversees implementation of communication methods with various audiences while also managing the marketing team. After coming to PHS in 2006, Dana served as the marketing & sales program coordinator for six years before moving into the marketing specialist role in 2012 as the department began to grow. In 2013, she was promoted to marketing supervisor to oversee the marketing team. Dana received her Bachelor of Arts in advertising from the University of Minnesota. She lives in Victoria and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Donna Filar

Donna Filar is the Executive Vice President of Market Outreach at PHS. In this position, she identifies and strategizes the direction of marketing services with our Outreach team to provide exceptional care for children with medical complexities. Before PHS, Donna worked in home health services for 12 years as a regional vice president overseeing a team of area vice presidents and many account representatives that provided superior care to home care and hospice patients. Donna graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Finance and received her MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
