Back as far as the 1970's my father was coming up with solutions to make the beer colder. One of his tricks was to install a timer to shut the system off each night to defrost the coil after setting the temperature of the box to just above freezing. Which as most of you know would freeze the coil causing warmer conditions.Amazing that we find out that many of today's manufacturers are putting timers on there high end equipment. A lot of the small beer coolers and deli cases made today contain timers to cycle off the compressor to make sure the coil does not freeze... Beer cooler repairs are one of our specialties.
