Welcome to xBorder Motorsports! xBorder is short-hand for cross-border. xBorder Motorsports is one of the ventures put together by my wife, Bernice Cheng, and I. Bernice is the founder of xBorder Foods & Wines, a start-up intended to promote education and distribution of wine to growing middle classes in emerging market countries. Her current focus is advancing her studies in wine, and building a global network... By way of background, my name is Chris Beaufait. My wife and I currently live and work in and from China. We also maintain a home in Washington State, USA and London, UK. In August of 2013, I took the first step in my racing adventure by attending the Skip Barber Racing School at Lime Rock Park (a race track) in Connecticut, USA. Upon completion, I started racing in the 2013-14 Skip Barber Winter Series, running 22 races and have had the chance to compete at a few famous US road racing courses, such as Road Atlanta, Sebring International Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca,..
