Clare Jones

Job Titles:
  • Club Secretary
"I am a full time mother of two and I now know much more about football than I ever thought possible! I enjoy watching my son play for Worplesdon Rangers every week. The Club has many football experts and I am enjoying the steep learning curve on which I find myself as Club Secretary. I do, however, know a lot about administration, as my working life has been spent in Banking and Human Resources. Consequently, the role of Club Secretary is perfect for me. I am also a Parent Governor at my son's school, with responsibility for Early Years and the Parent Council in particular. I also help run a local toddler group. I love tea, cake, fireworks and sparkles and have very little patience for bad manners and magpies. I enjoy yoga, film, reading, all things historical and genealogy."

Helen Young

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Management Committee
  • Membership Secretary

Jenny Creasey

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Management Committee
  • Assistant Welfare Officer

Lorrie Humphrey

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Management Committee
  • Child Welfare Officer
  • Welfare Officer
Lorrie has accountability for all safeguarding issues within the Club. Like many of my Committee colleagues, I have children at the Club, with two sons playing at U9 and U13. Serving as a Governor at a local primary school, I am only too aware of the importance of volunteering to make a difference to the community in which we live. I was happy to stand for the role of Child Welfare Officer with Worplesdon Rangers FC at the Club's AGM in June 2016 and with a background in the legal profession, sense that I am well-suited for a role which is all about looking after the physical and psychological welfare of all our players, from Minis through to Under 18.

Michael Berhanu

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Management Committee
  • Secretary of the Management Committee

Nick Reynolds

Job Titles:
  • Club Development Manager
  • Co - Opted Club Development Manager
Nick is responsible for helping implement the Club's 2020 Development Plan. "I am a coach with the U11s and father of one of the squad. I got involved when my son got excited by football and wanted to start playing, thanks to some great leadership at the Under 6's at the time - and I suddenly found myself as one of the coaches when they moved up to Under 7. I've loved playing football myself but now, as my ‘career' starts to wind down, it's great to be able to give something back. I've found myself getting more and more interested in helping to make Worplesdon Rangers continue to be a great Club as the game of football evolves. I love to see the kids having fun, playing great football. Outside of football, I'm a father of two and a Spurs man (some will say that's outside football anyway), and love to watch a bit of cricket and travel. As a family we've lived on three continents, and football has always been a part of things, both watching and playing. As the Club's former Development Officer, I was instrumental in starting work on the Club's 2020 Development Plan and I look forward to continuing help implement the plan as a co-opted Club Development Manager, working alongside Sean and Ben."

Richard Angus

Job Titles:
  • Membership Officer
"I joined the Club with my son back in 2006 as an Assistant Coach and refereed our home games through to 11-a-side. My love of the game started when I was 8 years old and was very fortunate to have had teacher coaches with a strong team ethos. I played for all my schools from junior through to secondary at George Abbot. I also played for cubs and scouts and the village team (Send United) from age 12 through to leaving school, being reasonably successful with every team. This has meant my outlook for the players in the present U17 squad is playing for your team whilst allowing an individual to show their own skill set. I'm looking forward to taking the team through to U18s - and leaving them with the same fond memories of the early footballing years I was blessed with!".

Rupert Phillips

Job Titles:
  • Club Life - President
  • Club Life President, Seen Here With Deputy Chairman, Brian Slyfield on the Right
In June 2015, the Club conferred the award of Life President on Rupert Phillips, for his services in developing the Club, almost since its inception in 2001. Rupert announced his retirement from the Management Committee in December 2014 and stood down as Reception Coach and as the Club's ambassador at its Northmead School Mini-Soccer Centre in June 2016.

Sean Crooke

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Management Committee
  • Club Development Officer
  • Development Officer ( Acting )
Sean has overall accountability for managing the implementation of the Club's 2020 Development Plan. I have been at the club for 2 years and I am currently the U14's Coach. An FA Level 1 Coach, I am also member of the FA Licensed Coaches' club and have completed the Coerver Youth Diplomas 1 and 2. Like most parents that help out, it all started with picking up a few loose balls and cones in my son's team…..next minute you are a full time Coach/Manager! After helping Nick Reynolds with the Club's 2020 Development last season, I was more than happy to carry it on after Nick stepped down. I have organised the partnership with Woking FC for season 2016/17 and hopefully this will continue well into the future. The partnership will help improve the level of coaching we currently offer at the Club, as well as having venues for all weather-training at every age group this season, apart from our very youngest Mini-Rangers. My main aim is to be able to offer "football for all" within the Club, this can only be achieved if we continue to work together and encourage more volunteers. At home I am married with three children (15, 13 & 5) and I run my own building company. I am a massive fan of all sport involving England (my wife would say I don't think about anything else apart from football), so being able to help out adds to my love for the sport.

Shaun Dyer

Job Titles:
  • Commercial Officer
I have two boys with Worplesdon Rangers FC and like most of the other Coaches I started simply as a parent and ended up getting involved. I am a Co-Coach with the U9s and this will be my third season with the team. The majority of our players have been with the Club since U6's, which I believe is testament to the strength of the Club.
