Amy Kilpin - CMO

Amy is a successful age-group champion triathlete and marketing ninja who has worked with tech startups right through to multi-million pound organisations. She brings a wealth of cycling knowledge and some nifty marketing skills to help propel the Body Rocket brand into a household name. We hope.

Dr Anna Cibinel

Job Titles:
  • Performance Data Analyst
Anna has a PhD from ETH Zurich and has worked as a researcher in extragalactic astronomy in various places across Europe, before joining Body Rocket as Performance Data Analyst. Anna is in charge of the data analysis and validation, including developing/testing machine learning techniques for sensor calibration, building pipelines for filtering and processing the data and derive improved aerodynamic drag measurements from historical on-the-field data.

Eric Degolier - CEO, Founder

Eric came up with the idea for Body Rocket while training to compete at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, as the able-bodied tandem captain with three-time Paralympian Matt King in the match sprint and kilo. A design engineer, he's worked for industry leaders Trek Bicycles, PowerTap, and CycleOps.

James Webb

As founder of Red is Faster, James has patented inventions and proven technologies that have helped cyclists and triathletes to attain podium finishes in the UK and internationally. For nearly 10 years he has been looking at ways to improve aero testing outside wind tunnels. James' commercial experience covers electronic and software engineering at all levels. James has been fascinated by cycling and going faster since the heady days of aero development in the 80s and 90s. He made his own aerobars aged 16, and as a school project he built an anemometer that he tested on his bike. James looks forward to bringing his experience and passion for aerodynamics to Body Rocket.

Jordan Bolland

Jordan holds an MSc in Sports Engineering from the University of Sheffield Hallam. As a passionate cyclist, cycling has always been at the epicentre of his projects, including Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis of aerodynamically designed concept bikes. He oversees our aerodynamic testing services and rider development programme. His passion in cycling drives his motivation to help revolutionise athlete aerodynamics.

Keith Wakeham

Keith is a young veteran of power meter technology in the cycling industry, and is in demand for technical expertise. With a background in advanced experimental design, Keith has gone on to work with some of the biggest brands in the cycling industry as inventor and pioneer of cycling technologies, such as 4iii and Campagnolo. He has his name on over 30 patents in 5 countries for strain gauge and power meter technologies.

Marcus Hoenig

Marcus has had a fulfilling career as an entrepreneur and then as the CCO at D3O, where he led the commercial team and strategy from its early sub-£200k stage to become the world's leading impact protection technology company, valued at £15 million.

Neil Newell - CTO

Neil has 20+ years of experience in software, firmware, and electronics. He is a successful entrepreneur who has founded several companies. Previous ventures include the first commercially successful multi-player online game in the UK, and founder of Ashpool Telecom, which successfully floated on the Plus Markets Exchange.

Richard Palmer - Chief Strategy Officer, Founder

Richard is the founder, inventor and was the CEO of d3o, the intelligent protection technology brand that took the world by storm during the 2006 Olympic Games. Richard has since worked with big brands such as VF Corporation, Whirlpool and many more as a strategic innovation consultant, helping them see the future and manage their innovation plans to meet it.

Ruth Palmer

She has since worked with companies as big as VF Corporation and as small as the many embryonic startups in need of brand guidance. She brings design flair and brand acumen.
