The Governing Body at Woodland View Primary School has recently been reconstituted and is made up of ten members of the local and school community, all acting on a voluntary basis. We have a mixture of local authority, parent and staff governors as well as members who have been co-opted from the local community. Each member of our newly formed governing body will bring a different perspective and set of skills to the governing body... We provide strategic management, act as critical friends and ensure accountability. We work closely with Mrs Grey, the Headteacher, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school... As governors, we help set the vision and values of the school and work in partnership with staff, parents and children to create the right conditions for learning, thus enabling our children to reach their personal goals. We know our role in helping our children to Learn and Achieve and we have set out our commitments below
