Alli Holzberg is a Development Associate at BedRock. Prior to joining BedRock, Alli practiced both litigation and transactional real estate law at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP in New York City, including sales and acquisitions, developments, related financings, joint ventures, and large commercial leases, including for WeWork and Hudson Yards. Alli received her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, her MS from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate, and her BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Brendan Seaver is a Development Associate at BedRock. Prior to joining BedRock, Brendan worked as an Account Executive at SJX Partners, a premier sports and entertainment agency, based in New Canaan, CT. Brendan received his B.A. in Government from Harvard University, where he was a four year member of the nationally ranked tennis team.

Chuck Berman is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal at BedRock. Formerly, he was a Managing Principal and Vice Chairman at MacFarlane Partners. Prior to MacFarlane, he was Founder and President of Avalon Properties (NYSE REIT) which, through a merger, became Avalon Bay Communities, for which he served as President and COO. Earlier, he served as the Northeast Regional Partner and member of the management committee of Trammell Crow Residential Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Amherst College and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. He previously served as Chairman of the New Canaan Housing Authority, and was on the boards of the Harvard Real Estate Initiative, Rent.com (sold to eBay). GetActive.com (sold to Convio), and Versity.com (sold to CollegeClub.com).

Jay Martin is a Principal of BedRock. He is a lawyer by training with a broad range of experience and expertise in the areas of finance, architecture, and politics. Jay previously served as General Counsel to Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas and his Netherlands-based architecture and urban design firm, OMA. In this capacity, Jay was a key member of the management team, completing high-profile projects around the world, including new headquarters buildings for China Central Television in Beijing and Rothschild Bank in London. Prior to that, Jay represented Wall Street banks in lending and restructuring transactions and ran political campaigns during the 2006 and 2008 election cycles. Jay attended the University of Virginia, where he was one of seven students selected for the Government and Foreign Affairs Honors Program. He received his J.D. from New York University and spent a summer sabbatical studying architecture at Harvard's Graduate School of Design.

Katherine Sabroff is Senior Vice President of Portfolio Operations, where she is responsible for the management of BedRock's real estate assets. Prior to joining BedRock, she was Vice President of Operations and Marketing for Gotham Organization Inc., where she spent 15 years growing their new development residential portfolio of multi-family properties. Her responsibility includes the day-to-day oversight of property operations, budgeting, investor relations, and supervising property management activities. She began her career as a music talent agent in the Los Angeles office of International Creative Management and received her bachelor's degree from Ohio University.

Tracey Appelbaum is a Co-Founder and Managing Principal at BedRock. Previously, she served as Principal at MacFarlane Partners working with Chuck and was responsible for their urban investment activities in the eastern US. Before joining MacFarlane Partners, she was Vice President of Development for AvalonBay Communities (NYSE REIT) where she also worked with Chuck and was responsible for the New York metropolitan region. She began her real estate career as a product manager for Equitable Real Estate Investment Management. She graduated cum laude with a BS in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the JCC in Manhattan.
