Anne Chatroux

For decades Anne has provided both female and male leaders with incisive, effective coaching that has led to measurable organisational results and has transformed team performance. She is recognized for her ability to quickly discern what holds people back from expressing their full leadership potential, and to successfully work on those issues. Anne's approach is both nurturing and straight. This leads to immediate and decisive empowerment, challenge of assumptions and the status quo. She has worked with hundreds of professionals from organisations ranging from charities focused on child protection and education to global blue-chip companies in a wide range of industries. Anne is the founder of ACEP Ltd. and the author of a suite of educational programmes within our diversity practise. Our flagship programme "Female Executives Leading Change" empowers women to step up and take greater leadership positions, assume greater responsibility for the future direction of their organisation, and become effective role models for other women. To date the programme has enjoyed a 50% promotion success of its graduates.

Caroline Hoare

Caroline is a qualified solicitor and freelance strategy consultant specialising in education and charities. She was most recently employed as Chief Executive of the UK's Independent Schools Inspectorate, where she also developed its international consultancy arm. Caroline was previously interim Chief Executive of anti-prejudice education charity The Anne Frank Trust UK and is currently vice chair of its trustee board.

Dana Nunnelly

Dana is a seasoned marketing and brand Strategist specializing in leading teams in customer focused practices and initiatives, and creative direction and execution. She has worked both domestically and internationally with some of the Pacific Northwest favorite companies like REI.com, HomeGrocer.com and Microsoft. Dana is a natural educator that has built and implemented training curriculums for youth to advance leadership skills and business acumen. She has led the creation of corporate playbooks for international marketing and communication strategy roll outs and speaks on women in technology.

David Whitaker - Chairman

David has been a pioneer in exploring the interactions that promote high performance in people throughout a career that has spanned education, Olympic sport and international business. He is highly experienced in the art and science of coaching and learning, and the practical ways of working with people that open up greater opportunities for sustained high performance. After graduation he spent 14 years in leadership roles in education. This ran parallel with an outstanding playing career in international hockey, representing England and Great Britain over 100 times.

Erin Skelton - Chief Strategy Officer

Together with Erin Skelton, Ian is currently engaged in crafting a third book. This upcoming work will delve into the dynamics of women's leadership, offering a rich array of case studies to illuminate and inspire. Erin is first and foremost an educator and her extensive experience includes a diverse range of roles, encompassing both pastoral and academic leadership positions, across both independent and state education settings. Throughout her career, Erin has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering the intellectual curiosity and personal growth of her students and colleagues. Her passion for education is evident in her innovative methodology and her ability to inspire and motivate learners of all ages. Erin believes in the power of education to transform lives and has dedicated herself to this pursuit. Prior to joining Bright Field, Erin's most recent role was as Assistant Head and Head of Sixth Form in a top independent girls' school. In this role, she nurtured her students, instilled a sense of purpose and provided invaluable mentoring to prepare them for life as a woman in the 21st century and beyond. Erin is passionate about inclusion and belonging and is an advocate for understanding the power of kindness and empathy. Her philosophy is person-centered and her listening skills and understanding of character development enable her to create nurturing and inclusive teams and communities. Erin has over 18 years' senior management and leadership experience in education. Beginning her journey in Canada, and arriving in the UK to study at Bader College, Queen's University, Erin has considerable experience of educational systems beyond the UK. She completed her undergraduate degree in Theology, Philosophy and Medieval Studies at University of Leeds, and followed this with postgraduate degrees in Secondary Teaching at Leeds Trinity University and Theology and Medieval History at University of Wales Trinity St David. Erin is an outstanding classroom practitioner under both the Ofsted and ISI frameworks; she also is an accredited Designated Safeguarding Lead. In her spare time, Erin is a trustee of a national domestic violence charity and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Hilary Wigston - Founder

Hilary is a respected teacher, coach and author, contributing valuable insights and support to Bright Field. Hilary is a co-founder of Bright Field Consulting. With 30 years of experience as a teacher and school leader in both the maintained and independent sectors, Hilary transitioned to consultancy, earning qualifications as an executive coach and workplace mediator. Her clientele encompassed education leaders, families, and young people. Co-authoring "The Magic in the Space Between," she detailed the establishment and evolution of Bright Field's Global Mentoring Network for Aspiring Leaders. Although Hilary has retired from client-facing roles, she remains an integral part of Bright Field, providing ongoing support behind the scenes. Having been the beneficiary of mentoring myself, and as a practitioner on the mentoring programme, I know first hand the benefits of collaborating with other sectors. Ian and Hilary Wigston expose us to an external perspective in leadership development, highlighting the organisational advantage gained through diversity of thought.

Ian's journey is marked by a commitment to originality of thought and innovation, qualities that led to the inception of Bright Field Consulting with his wife Hilary over a decade ago. His portfolio of accomplishments includes influential roles in projects with organisations such as the DfE Innovation Unit, Odyssey Charter School, the Learning Schools Trust, and Woodard Corporation. His coaching acumen has been instrumental in the success of many clients, both corporate and in the realms of education. Ian Wigston artfully and provocatively blends the right questions with a gentle yet productive prod. He has that rare ability to adjust his style as needed, no cookie cutter strategies, no formulaic protocol. Jeremy Tomlinson

A Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience of business leadership in a variety of service sectors, including accountancy, the law and the National Health Service, Jeremy was Bursar at Oakham School for ten years from 1998 to 2008. Drawing on a lifetime of observation and involvement in leadership and team psychology, the secrets of compelling vision-design, the art of leading change and the ingredients of high-performing teams, Jeremy advises, mentors and coaches high-achievers to raise their performance bar and extend their creative potential.

Jo Beckett

Jo is a qualified Executive Coach and Mentor accredited at Masters level 7 with the Institute of Leadership and Management. Jo is a Psychologist, experienced in coaching and mentoring head teachers, boards of governors, senior managers and teaching staff in schools. She also specialises in coaching and mentoring young people and is certified to teach resilience skills and experienced in Mindfulness. Jo's approach is based on positive psychology and is solutions focussed. She helps individuals and teams adapt and transform their approach to work and learning, find solutions to challenges, and look forward with energy and purpose. Jo believes that in this new era of work that there is a requirement for enhanced levels of emotional intelligence and directly supports clients to develop these critical competencies. Her person-centred approach helps clients to move beyond their current frame of reference develop deep strategic thinking and concentrate their thoughts.

Kim Hardie

Kim is a creative arts psychotherapist with extensive experience of working with adults and young people in mental health settings. She is a qualified dramatherapist (MA) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth). Specialist areas include trauma, PTSD and Attachment Theory. Her therapeutic approach is creative, integrative and psychodynamic and she is influenced by the new science of interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) and always tries to work as a ‘brain-wise' therapist.

Lois Mufuka Martin

As a Managing Director for Storbeck Search, Lois works within the Education Practice to connect executive leaders with independent, private and charter schools, universities, and nonprofits. The core of her work is about centering inclusive and equitable hiring practices as a foundation for recruitment and retention. Prior to Storbeck, Lois served as Vice President for Search and Consulting where she led a team that connected leaders to independent schools on the West Coast. Rooted in nonprofit organizational development, Lois has also served as Chief Volunteer Engagement Officer at United Way of Southwestern PA and as CEO of Bethlehem Haven, an organization that moves women from homelessness to housing and as Director of The Community Fund at United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County. As a Zimbabwean immigrant, Lois believes in the power of education to transform lives. To that end, Lois serves on the board of Education Matters Africa, an educational access organization that supports the USAP Community School, a high school that prepares and matches high achieving, low income Zimbabweans, with full four-year scholarships to colleges and universities throughout the world. Lois earned a BA in History from Lander University and an MEd in Counseling from Clemson University. She is married to Derek A. Martin of Pittsburgh, PA and they have two adult children.

Marjon Wind

Marjon is a circular economy consultant and executive coach with over 25 years of experience in international business. She lived for many years in Asia and Europe, working for multinational organisations, helping them bridge the gap between strategic plans and effective implementation. Empowering people into strategic leadership and teamwork is a key focus in her work. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed multi-million dollar change projects in complex multi-cultural environments. After 13 years in corporate banking, Marjon worked for eight years in consultancy firms focusing on leadership coaching and change management. She is a keen facilitator in workshops, helping teams set their strategic direction and vision. Marjon has built up extensive experience managing and coaching people from different cultural and professional backgrounds and managing teams across regions/countries through her corporate and consulting career. Marjon is an activator for SheEO in Australia, a radically redesigned ecosystem that supports, finances, and celebrates female innovators. In 2019, she was a mentor for the Women in Technology mentoring program.

Steph McClean

Stephanie is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist with many years' experience working in mental health. She has training in counselling, a BA in Drama and Music and an MA in Dramatherapy. She is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists. Stephanie has extensive clinical experience in various settings, including medium and low secure forensic mental health, community substance misuse, staff support using CISM (critical incident stress management), mental health provision in schools, and learning disabilities services.
